Nice for trades, bad for realism.

Basically it's Flynn's potential and in 2K he is a freaking beast. I was in an online league and he was my best player because he could hit the three and penetrate. Players like Love are harder to use in 2K because it's hard to get them open without running plays.

Also, last year a lot of people though Flynn was going to be a nice starting PG. Quick, ability to make "flashy" passes, and a flair for scoring. No one thought he was going to have the major collapse he did this season. 2K is also slow to nerf a guy's potential. They at least try to give them a season. Sometimes a team change can be all the difference.

Love is useless because rebounding ability continues to have no impact. He can shoot though so he's pretty good on threes and pick and pop

Rebounding is better if you play on sim and have 10-12 min quarters but its' still not where it needs to be. Boxing out is again an issue, the AI doesn't do it enough or effectively. It's still more about vertical. They really need to put a lot of work into fixing rebounding of future titles. It's going to be hard to get it so Love pulls down 15 boards a game. They are also going to have to adjust their sim system. A maxed out rebounder may still only average 11 boards a season.

They need to work it where a guy in the 90's gets around 11 boards while a 99 get 15-17. Most players rebounding ratings will have to lowered to accommodate for the new scale. Guys like KG who in 2K5 was like a 99 rebounder should be like a 90 now.

rebounding I can almost tolerate, its the big men's mid range jumpers that piss me off. Any big man w/ any kind of jumper at all is just automatic. It seems like in beta testing they realized its too easy to contest shots in the midrange so they decided they'd "open things up" by making contesting shots irrelevant. I've swarmed guys w/ double teams even, it just doesnt matter at all, if they get the shot off it has no less than a 90% chance of dropping w/ default 50 shooting on HOF mode. No exaggeration at all

My new 2K team is a amazing. We are still missing that one star player but I'll get him.

Dynasty Warriors 7 is really good. Big improvement over the last game. I haven't had this much fin since Empires and that was back in like 06.

Yeah, it's pretty lame. Luckily Netflix still works, although you have to deal with the PSN sign-in request periodically.

I've been on a PS 1 classic kick lately. Just completed the PS Final Fantasy 4 port, and now I'm tackling Chrono Cross, which I've somehow owned for like 2-3 years (and has been out for a decade) and have never played. Great so far.

One of these days, I'll get back to my PS3 queue of Uncharted 2 and Bioshock 2.

I really don't like buying new games that much. I'm just happy with one or two games that I can play without getting bored of it. I have MAG (256 player FPS), and it's flipping awesome. My ONLY complaint is kids with squeaky voices who use microphones. I honestly have to mute voice chat because it's like someone is sticking a knife in my ear.

I'm really looking forward to buying NBA 2K12 and Twisted Metal.

God of War series (Once PSN comes back, you should definitely download the demo.)

I'm a big fan of the Ys series. You can pretty much start anywhere in the series without missing out on anything as the stories don't really transfer over from game to game. Ys Seven would be a good one to start with in the series if your interested. Here's a pretty good review: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=rGFrVdoq3WY

http://www.chicagotribune.com/business/breaking/chibrkbus-sony-warns-of-playstation-online-data-breach-20110426,0,503872.story

An unauthorized person stole names, addresses and other personal data for about 77 million people who have accounts on Sony Electronics' PlayStation Network, Sony said Tuesday.

The "illegal and unauthorized person" got access to people's names, addresses, email address, birthdates, usernames, passwords, logins, security questions and more, Sony said on its U.S. PlayStation blog.

Children with accounts established by their parents also may have had their data exposed, Sony said.

Sony, whose PlayStation online service has been down for about a week, said it saw no evidence that credit card numbers were stolen, but warned users that it could not rule that out.

"Out of an abundance of caution, we are advising you that your credit card number (excluding security code) and expiration date may have been obtained," Sony said.

I made a purchase using my PS3 to buy an addon for MAG. I hope I'm not really at risk for anything since I'm not a PSN subscriber, but still :o

I work for a bank, the only thing we've seen so far is everyone and their mother claiming fraud on every PSN charge for the last year or so and not anything that resembles ACTUAL fraud so far. Take it with a grain of salt, we are just one bank, and really good frauststers bide their time.

No confirmation that acct numbers or credit card numbers were for sure taken, so if its just names/addresses, I hate to tell people this, but you can usually get names and address from the phone book and/or Google, so its not really huge when someone compromises that if you even want to call it a compromise...

Just a little discovery I made. IGN number or reviews below a rating of 3, per system.

PS3: 15
xbox 360: 19
Wii: 70!

and to compare to the Gamecube: 5

Wow. I knew their were crap games on the Wii, but I really underestimated the amount.

I guess I'm not too surprised. I've never really liked any game I've tried on the Wii; I don't really understand the appeal of the system, I guess.

Despite having roughly 30 million more in sales, I don't know ANYONE who has played that system in at least a year. Its been about two years for me. A few months ago I attempted, and got a disc read error on all my games. I said "F' it" and just packed it away.

I don't think Nintendo is going to get anymore of my money. I'm not impressed by the rumors of the new system. The controllers sound awkward, cumbersome and gimmicky.

And obscenely expensive. The touch screens sound idiotic.

I just hope that the new Nintendo doesn't push Sony and/or Microsoft to rush out their new gens too early. System/hardware bugs and weak release game lineups can really hurt, but can be avoided pretty easily in my opinion.

Also, I don't want to have to consider shelling out between 500 and 1000 dollars anytime soon.

I did the unthinkable...I had to trade Kevin Love on 2K11. He's just too worthless in that game. Its not his fault, but with rebounding being a non-factor in the game (just like in real life right?) he's a liability w/ his weak defense. I moved him for Bogut and couldn't be happier. Bogut is an awesome defensive presence and he scores like a beast in the post.
