Naz Reid, Vanderbilt, Edwards, McDaniels, are all talented pieces. The fact that you have to rely on them so heavily is disastrous for your team. They have so much to learn and collectively they will kill you with bad decisions. When it's just one or two of those guys getting some playing time with solid vets, you can get away with it but you can't have a ton of young players carrying your team.

This team is in dire need of veteran and size infusion. We need some bigs, we need some players who are consistent and can stabilize things. Right now, if two of KAT, DLO, and Beasley do not go off big time, we can't win games, that's a problem.

Is it just me or did Edwards look a lot better to begin the year than he does now?

The Hawks frontcourt absolutely obliterated us today. They played a really bad game but they still had enough to take us down without much trouble, without KAT, every team in the NBA has a dominant frontcourt we have to contend with. No easy paint buckets, getting bodied on the boards, etc. We are at a disadvantage every night. Ryan says we need to get physical and we do but its hard to do it when Edwrds is the second heaviest player on the team and you are battling grown 6'10" men under the basket every night.

He did for sure, he was hitting shots and feeling pretty good about himself. That said the team as a whole seems a lot more confident out of the gate, now we have been broken and the losing mentality has set in, totally transforms a team when that happens. That's why losing streak are dangerous, it becomes a habit. It damages your team a lot when you drop 5+ games in a row.

I like the thought process behind going after Ed, but he's no spring chicken and doesn't have the athleticism anymore to compound for a lack of size at the C spot. I wonder if we make a move for McGee if it's relatively cheap

Gonna be long 2 wks w/o towns.. On the bright side Orl lost 6 or 7 straight. More chances of them willing to trade gordon and tank for a high draft pick.

Bahama wolves were a better squad. Not because they had more talent, they didn't but they had more experience and they played defense better. This team doesn't play defense as well and their offense is actually pretty bad. They have a big 3 who can get buckets but outside of that that it's a crapshoot when it comes to where the offense will come from. KAT helps to cover up a lot of issues but the team needs more than him to be good. Without him, they are pretty bad.

Wolves really need Wizards to trade Beal and Raptors to trade Siakam (and maybe Lowry or shutdown the vet) and go tank.

If Thunder and Cavs come back to earth, Wolves can battle the Knicks, Bulls and Kings for the right to be one of the worst 10 teams and give Warriors a top 10 pick. Sadly looking like 4-6 will go to Warriors.

Nah wolves will keep their pick this year and then trade Towns to the warriors, it is inevitable.

They had 24 TO's smh. The Wolves problems every game is physicality inside, and lack of consistent shooting

When he spent baseline in the 2nd quarter into McDaniels man I stopped watching. He is just completely lost.

I think the wolves have a structure of a nice team but their holes are just so massive. It's like a cup with 2 big holes, yea most of that cup would be fine if the holes weren't there to let water through. You give the wolves some good bigs and a couple of ok shooters and they are a different team. Our big situation right now is not workable.

You go small ball to get an advantage with speedy players and good shooters, problem is we are playing small with no advantage whatsoever for it. We don't have a 4 or 5 who is exploiting slower bigs and busting people up in the perimeter. We are playing small and getting beat down.

Okogie, Culver as well, all of them. Nobody stays baseline or corner and covers that corner three they all come in to help and get too far off the right wing threes. Hunter all day from there.

Calinks wrote:Hawks scrubs have come to life, its over. Terrible outings for Jmac and Beasley. It happens, some guys will have off nights but there is no one to pick up the slack which is a huge problem. Badly needed Culver, Edwards, Jmac, to come through and provide some offense.
The JMac thing is on Saunders and Rosas. He's not even with the team for how many games, then he needs to play because of injuries and Saunders starts him off with two 3+ min stints in the first half so he never warms up. The first one was him replacing dLo first while everyone else pissed out tired was left out there. They had just dropped 4 in a row in the minute before he entered and they dropped another 4 behing in the first minute he was out there. Two minutes later Saunders swapped everyone else including him.

Ryan doesn't know what he is doing if he's handling the rotations. If it's someone else it's on them. But you dont do this junk to an ice cold player that hasn't been playing games at all, not if you need him this game. Get him going early and give him some time to work into it.

Beasley seemed like he was going at everything too hard, trying to do it all. No thought into dumping off a pass as he charged in to the net. Got blocked a couple times by Capella early on I think. Then a floater that should never have been tossed up. Rough game for him.

Hate this kinda of player...
Try to force everything to get his personal numbers.

Dude celebrates when he rebounds the ball over his teamates.

You know a player hater when he has one bad game in the last 7 games and you post something like this. It's been that do everything motor that has been getting a lot done for this hash roster. Yes things weren't clicking for hiim today and he kept beating his head against the wall anyway. That's when a coach should get another player some minutes. Because that's who he is and he will just keep trying.
Dude celebrates rebounding over his teammates? Really... That's what you are going with?

Maybe the team just has poor communication and no one is yelling they have it and they all just want to make sure they get it. You know what happens when you play with 3 to 4 guards on the floor at the same time? They get logjammed unless they communcate well and all know where they should be. That's obviously not the case.

Is easy to see when a player is a stat padder.

And we are going to continue to lose while he's going put big numbers here and there and that's why i said... When he's bad, he's really bad.

When he's not that bad, he's a stat padder. But he's not a player that helps winning games.

At this point we really should try to increase his trade value and trade him later in february.
After that, start Edwards and see what he's made of it...

Just my opinion.
