Dude is mostly balling out offensively tonight, though.

His frame and speed can make him a truly great defender.

He does give up real quickly on screens, and he doesn’t switch quickly, but he’s a promising one on one defender..

One on one defense is overrated in the NBA though. Players are too good, gotta learn to be a great team defender

JMac is a great one on one defender and he can take on some really good players and shut them down. maybe not Lebron... Nobody else on this team can.

Nobody came in to pass today except the Center. Karl with 5. Ballhog isn't passing, at least his efficiency on shots is better so far.

Towns is our new PG.

About to lose by 15 or 20 tonight and Edwards & Towns are going to have 40 a piece.I don't think we've ever had two players score 40 in the same game ?

I know no one wants to admit this because Ant's actually got decent efficiency shooting going and has reached 30 already. But he's also shot 23 times already and they are in the 3rd quarter with 1 assist. Can't really expect much others to be involved in this game.

Wasn't it usually like 20/40 with Wiggins/Kat at best? or 14 from Wiggins when Kat reached 40.

Kat's at least trying to set others up and has some assists as well. Edwards is sort of the black hole eating up the possessions.

This is what I was warning about Nowell for those that wanted to just flip Beasley and rely on Nowell already. This is essentially Nowell's first season. We don't know how consistent he will be and we don't have any evidence that he plays well from lower minutes. All his good games are coming with higher minutes and this game he's got half the minutes someone like edwards has right now. He's got to be IN games, at least the evidence so far shows so.

At what though? Edwards has 30 minutes already in the 3rd quarter and 27 shots and he has only 1 assist and people here are crying about everyone else playing poorly. Duh... The ballhog is the team when the ballhog chooses to ballhog.

If Towns is going to work with Edwards and Edwards is essentially the PG, good luck getting others involved. We can lose 120 to 90 every game that way.

Edwards now down to 33% from 3.

To be fair to Edwards, he could have 2-3 more assists. Set up some people pretty well in the first half... only problem is nobody else can hit a shot :banghead:
