Jaden is getting made out to look like a crime scene out there.

Naz is just inept tonight. Jaden was never involved in the offense after the first quarter, Rudy was being excluded too much, everyone but Ant and Julius just power outaged. Bad offense + bad defense = bad loss.

Not sure I follow? Jaden is playing with 4 fouls and Luka is getting a very friendly whistle. Not sure what you expect.

The refs took over the game in the third. Then we folded.

Without NAW, it seems like there is no one to run the offense. It's one on one when someone gets the ball and that's not working. Wolves need a point guard and center or at least a point guard that can get the center involved.

To be fair, Finch gets a ton of credit for the defense tonight. In the 2nd half we started doubling Luka and Finch’s version of double is always an atrocity. Open shot after open shot. We need to learn how to cover opposing stars without dropping our pants.

Not to overreact to a single game, but this is not how I want to see a team that prioritised continuity playing.

You can whine about the refs but they aren't the reason our defensive effort was and still is non-existent. They're not the reason our offence, regardless of who had the ball, was a single screen with everyone else spaced out to the corners. Just pure incompetence on both ends.

And as I'm typing this, 4 of our guys go for and fail to get a rebound which turns into an instant Ayton dunk.

Maybe this will be a wake up call. Maybe now we will recommit to defense. Although the scheme must improve as well.

Extremely weak defense. I remember last season when their opponents score over 100, it usually ended up a loss. LA already at 126 with over 3 mins left.

I am beating a dead horse, but the problem is that, once Rudy heads to the bench, Minnesota's entire defense collapses. Julius Randle and Naz Reid cannot share the court together (frankly, Naz can NEVER play at Center). If this means gambling on playing an undeveloped rookie, Minnesota has to do it, because Naz getting minutes as the switch-big is directly what led to Austin Reaves putting the game out of reach.

Big part of it yes. But also the double teams on Luka kept forcing players to make rotations that they just didn’t or didn’t quickly enough. Once Jaden went out we were totally doomed.

Tonight we gave Laker Nation 5 weeks of overconfidence.
Tonight we put the Lake show back on the National media "Lakers are going to win the chip" train.
Tonight, we gave JJ Reddick a 3-month extension and solidified his status as a coaching mastermind.

This was 100 percent what the Lakers needed to spark their season, we delivered for the big market.

Would rather trade him first. If he is willing that would add 10 mil of trade bait.
