Budinger is much more athletic than Morrison. I compare him to Brent Barry.

The Syarcure vs Uconn game was the best thing that ever happened this year.

I am not saying that i think Budinger and Ammo are the same player and that Budinger is a bust waiting to happen. However, anytime i ask somebody about Chase the first thing a majority of people say they are worried he is Adam Morrison all over again.

I'll admit i didnt like CB the first few times i saw him, and i thought that all he brought to the table was shooting, however, the more i have watched Arizona the more i start to like him. I have also seen Mike Miller comparisons, however seeing Mikey first hand i really dont like that comparison. I wouldnt take him top 20 though. Unless he has a phenomenal tourny or all other op's are off the table with the Miami pick.

Far less of a handle and defensive abilities. Like I said, maybe he could be a decent bench player. I just do not get excited about him.

I disagree about the handle, Budinger can handle the ball just fine.

There'd have to be a pre-arranged trade. As I mentioned if Rubio's available and a pre-arranged trade going from #1 to #2 and picking up something, even cash would be acceptable, isn't there, you just take Rubio.

Let's say Rubio's not available. I think the gap between Griffin and the next best college player is big enough that you have to take Griffin even if a trade is not in place.

I agree. And if you can't get a good offer for Griffin, you put Love and Al on the table. And even then, if you don't get a good offer, you just roll with all three.

MIN isn't in a position of needing to make a trade for 2009-10 to balance the roster. Particularly with Al Jefferson iffy, we can be patient one more year. 2010, when we can apply our cap money, is the year we need to balance our roster to maximize wins. In the meantime, I'd sure we have enough minutes each game to see that all get the playing time they deserve.

Yeah, I sort of flip flopped on this when I saw Griffin play last week. Before that, I figure we could draft Thabeet or Harden over him but he blew me away. I had scoffed at your idea that OKC might trade Jeff Green to get him, but now I could see it.

How does Chase Budinger compare to Mike Miller? See a lot of similarities except Budinger is more athletic, and Miller might be a better passer. Both are good rebounders, long, tall shooting guards, feel more comfortable taking set shots or coming off screens than they do creating their own.

First time I saw Budinger, Mike Miller is exactly the player he reminded me of. I hate when white dudes always seem to be compared with other whiteys, but in this case I think it fits. Plus, Chase has a brillow-head, so I don't think it counts.

Aldrich at #18 would be fantastic, just fantastic. DeRozan at the Utah pick would be lovely. the rest makes me wanna vomit. :-(

I guess I don't see how Teague fits in. If we see him as our two guard of the future, we don't have a point to match with him and we get even smaller. He doesn't look to be the type of point we need. Maybe if we still had KG, but not with Big Al and Foye.

Tyler Smith just seems to be another under-sized, skinny PF.

Is there a board limit to the number of jokes we can have per discussion and Chase is over the limit on his own?

I had to google that, I'll be honest. Pretty sure Chase can smoke Big Al in 1 on 1 sand volleyball, even before the injury.

I think he could be the Isaiah Dahlman of the T-Wolves. Over-hyped, never gets minutes, wastes away on the bench. But doesn't regret his decision.
