Yeah, that is likely the most they could have gotten for him as a standalone piece. I think it is a fair-ish deal for both sides.

Three seconds is pretty solid value, but beyond that, Rui Hachimura is a very inconsistent player. Not a particularly strong defensive player and very streaky as a shooter.

Wolves appear to be acquiring undersized so-so guard for Naz is disappointing, but I also assume it means DLo headed out.

What on earth could Minnesota add to these to make Naz for Bones or Mann worth it for Denver/LAC? This feels like a Wolves leak to up Naz’s value.

Mann was one of the guys I thought would be a homerun for Wolves to get, but just assumed LAC wouldn't move him since he's under contract at good # for two more seasons

pretty ideal backcourt mate if you want ANT to have the ball more since Mann isn't much of a creator but good D, rebounder for a guard/wing and decent spot up

I don't know what Wolves can really offer other than taking back longer contracts, but LAC doesn't really have "bad' contracts and Ballmer doesn't seem to care about luxury tax

Mann and Hyland don't really do much for me. I feel like we could find someone who's a better fit. Trading just to trade isn't a good idea in my opinion. If you have to package Naz, Nowell, J Mac, etc for someone more productive then so be it. But Naz for one of them...idk

I'd try really hard to go after Josh Hart, I wonder how we can get him.

I'd also do the Naz for Mann rumor, i'd also do Naz for Shake Milton...2 guards that could excel in different situations.

I'd also do the 2nd round picks for Josh Richardson, we need better guard play off the bench.

The Clippers biggest need is a PG, but he doesn’t need to be a playmaker when the ball is in George or Kawhi’s hands.

Their second biggest need is a center.

They have lots of options for matching salary, they are under pressure to win now, and their rich owner could spend to bring both players back this summer on decent contracts.

I wonder what their best offer would be for DLo + Naz?

They shared a stat that DLo is a 50-40-90 player since Dec . While he does make some bad plays at times, he's def been a significant part of the games won. Although, you still might have to trade him for the long-term benefit of the team.

If you can sign him to a reasonable contract, I would keep him. Assuming his contract isn't too high, you can always move him to that 6th man role at some point during his contract. When he's cooking keep him out there, when his shot isn't dropping and he makes a few lazy turnovers, go with another player.

I will admit, DLo has been very efficient (scoring) the past 1.5 months.

That said, I would still prefer 1-year of CP3 over current DLo. We need some IQ on this team and I’ll take one good (WCF/better) run with CP3 over several seasons of DLo making dumb mistakes.

If we want completely change our identity to defensive minded, we should trade for Caruso. It will be difficult for us to score, since Caruso is close to offensive liability, but I have no doubts that Gobert-MCD-Caruso trio will be an elite defensive core. Add here Anderson and Edwards progress and we might see Gobert-Anderson-MCD-Edwards-Caruso five that can be nightmare for opponent offense.

Reid is averaging 10.8 points, 4.8 rebounds, and 1.0 blocks in 18 minutes per game this season. Career 34% 3-point shooter.
Would add nice size and rebounding as a stretch five option.

The really intriguing thing about Reid is that he’s still on his rookie contract.
Making just $1.9 million this season, so you wouldn’t have to give up a significant player to match salary.

Reid is also a New Jersey native. Played his high school ball at Roselle Catholic.
Used to see him around the AAU circuit in NYC when I was playing. Was always one of the city’s premiere prospects.
