It's not about the efficiency of a fadeaway mid range shot. It's about what everything else that happens because he's getting the ball in all of the places on the court allowing him to more consistently impact scoring, be less one dimensional, draw different types of gravity, and play at different speeds.
That shot goes in at the end because he can just play with feel all over the offensive zone. In football, you don't run up the middle because you think that's the highest percentage chance of a big play. You need to make teams respect the whole floor.

Ant had a crazy efficient scoring night. 50% from the field, 50% on10 3s, and 100% on 8 FTs. 7 rebounds is good, only one assist with 4 TOs is Turrible. 1 block no steals. I'd take 81 more games like this in the regular season and have it carry over into the playoffs.

I’ll be honest, I’m a little concerned about Ant publicly admitting he’s has back issues since a young age and what it could mean for his career.
We’ve seen what back issues can do…T Mac being one who had a shortened prime due to back issues and other ailments.
Also, considering Ant is supposed to be in the best shape of his life but already having back spasms ahead of game 1 without any summer ball and minimal preseason work…Hope it doesn’t affect him too much too soon.

I wouldn’t assume he is back in two weeks. I would assume he will be reexamined in two weeks. It could easily be more. Also I read that two weeks is 8 games. If we have to add another 4-8 that could easily turn into 20% of the season with no guarantee he won’t miss more.
