People made fun of the "8 starters" bit for most of the season, but it's absolutely a thing!

I think Podz beats Mike for spot 8. Younger, more stamina, better defense. That said, less experience, less consistency from deep, and no Rudy connection. Plus Podz is not a true PG, but then again we don’t give Mike the ball to run the offense that often anyway.

P.S 6 home teams and two road teams won this weekend. Wolves and Warriors are the only two road teams. One with the help of the refs (5 key points late in the 4th,) the other without a single foul called in their favor for the first 20 minutes of a 48 minute game.

Just dawned on me.....

If everything holds, we'd have home-court advantage next round!

Most overrated player in NBA history. If we was drafted by the Bobcats / Hornets, his ass would be in China rn.

For all his MANY, MANY, FLAWS, the one thing I will say about Green is he is a solid playmaking passer. He understands the scheme well enough to help make life easier for his teammates and create good looks. Everything beyond that, Fuc* him.

I don't think that's ever happened before. 6th seed with home court advantage.

Initially, I saw a way I could understand his viewpoint of building a team round defense as his reason for the trade. And I still understand it, in some respects. But he's just looking worse and worse right now. This is getting to be Kahn territory quickly!

I don't think much has changed since the trade. I think the trade was ridiculous, but the Irving-Davis pairing never had a chance before injuries hit.

He's far worse than Kahn already. Luka is a generational player.

Kahn never was so bad fans actively booed him and protested outside Target center.

Hands down the worst GM in history.

For the few minutes that Kyrie- Davis played together, they actually looked very good. Had they stayed healthy, it may not look as bad. The urgency of the trade is still head scratching. Why not do it last Summer or next Summer. Even if you sign Luka to Supermax, you will still get Towns or Beal value even if Luka weighs 320lbs.

I don't watch Knicks much...so not sure if its a season long thing but I am very surprised at the way Knicks are using KAT offensively...he is barely getting any shot attempts. Some of this is on KAT but Knicks coaching staff also deserves some blame. He was on 10 points during mid 2nd qtr and he ended the game with same 10 pts and had like just 2-3 shot attempts for the last 30 mins of the game. He is also barely attempting any 3's...it infact looks even worse than last season with Wolves

They utilize him much more early in the season. He didn't touch the ball the last 5 mins of the game. Not sure what's going on.

Especially in the playoffs, it's hard to run your offense through a low-post player late in games.

Playoff basketball comes around, and ppl then remember Kat lost us the dal series.

When trade initially came out, wolves fans were pissed.. it was the correct move even though Julius needs to go.

It's not just this, though. He openly admitted he didn't realize/expect just how much Doncic meant to the city/fans...

Maybe but definitely not tonight. He was playing reasonable defense. I didn't watch the 3rd qtr but NYK could definitely run something or have Towns initiate. Brunson was clearly out of gas and putting up desperate shots. I get Harris is not a good matchup for Towns, they still could had use him around the 3pt line, high post, low post, etc.

This is flat-out wrong. Towns certainly did not play well in that series, but who did? Edwards was no where near the player he had shown in the two previous series.

I've already gone on record saying the trade was a mistake. I stand by that to this very day. The fact that the foundation of last year's team didn't get a chance to run it back still blows my mind, especially when you consider it was only the second time in franchise history the Wolves reached the Western Conference Finals.
