Read an article on how 76's might trade for a vet, using the #3. Would you trade Naz or DDV and one of our picks for #3? Who would you take?

Keeping it real, #3 would be Jaden McDaniels and filler (taking back Paul George), not Donte DiVincenzo or Naz Reid.

That's a weird one to figure.

I think the 76ers laugh at the proposal. And if Flagg and Harper are gone, I struggle with who to take.

I like Edgecomb a lot, but he's better off ball. If I don't take him, I might trade down a bit...

According to you move up for Jakucionis (PG?) could be a good move?

Up!!!

Now NbaDraftNet give us Queen at #17!!

Could you give me your vision about my previous post ?

You're an incredibly wise evaluator of talent, sir. I salute you.

I'm riding the Walter Clayton Jr train all the way up to when OKC takes him at #15…

Would be great to add more shooting, but i'd be worried about losing our defensive identity. Whoever we bring in, I want him to be definitively additive on the defensive side of the ball. Watching OKC win a title with just elite defense some timely iso scoring reinforced in my mind that that's our best path to take. We're already almost there, we just need a little more life at forward and maybe center. Sorber and Bryant fit the bill, but I think both will be gone by 17. CMB might fall to 17 though. Also Essengue or Beringer. At 31, maybe James or Fleming or Kalkbrenner. I don't know what kinda defensie chops Yang has, but love the size and skill. But the important thing to me is to not willingly add any defensive targets. Come playoff time, teams are so good now at forcing those switches and punishing.

Seems like everybody does. Not sure he'll be around. Reminds me of JDub. Kind of an unknown for most of the season, but then as draft time got close and people were grinding tape and highlights, the hype became overwhelmingly positive. Every non-lotto team's fans had him ear-marked as a target, and he ends up going lotto.

I watched a ton of Jakucionis games at Illinois and he's a very good college player with a well rounded set of skills. I don't see him at PG in the NBA and I question if his lack of elite athleticism will prevent him from ever being "starter" quality.

As for Queen, his weaknesses have been rightfully mentioned by others but his offensive talents make him a no-brainer if he falls to #17.

Coward's offense and shooting splits before he got injured last year were crazy good. He's been rocketing up in Mocks the last two (2) weeks.

I think Sorber works better here as the 4th big than he does as the 3rd big. I don't know if he has PF versatility. So if there's an inkling Reid or Randle may go, he might not be the right pick to make.

Conversely, if the team is expecting to lose either Reid or Randle (ideally Randle for this exercise), I personally LOVE the idea of drafting Rasheer Fleming. He is one of my favorite fits with Ant, Jaden and Naz longterm.

2nd this. Clayton is someone I like, but if we're having Dillingham on the team I don't see how we can have Clayton. I like looking at Drake Powell and Thiero at 31 for that reason also.

Brooklyn has 5 picks - 8, 19, 26, 27, 36
Utah Jazz (4): 5, 21, 43, 53
Orlando Magic (4): 16, 25, 46, 57
San Antonio Spurs (3): 2, 14, 38
Charlotte Hornets (3): 4, 33, 34
Washington Wizards (3): 6, 18, 40
Oklahoma City Thunder (3): 15, 24, 44

Alot of those teams just have so many players already, they aren't going to have the roster spots so maybe they're packaging them to move up.

I ran my numbers, and these are the fair offers for MIN’s #17:

BRK: #19, #27 (should be worth #14). #19, #36 (should be worth #16). #26, #27 (should get #18).
UTA: #21, #43, #53
ORL: #25, #46, #57, future 2nd
SAS: 2030 1st pick swap (most favorable of MIN, SAS, DAL), #38 .. (what do you think? I have no math for that)
WAS: #18, #40 (should be worth #16)
OKC: #24, #44 (should only be worth #21, but OKC has many future 2nds and late 1sts)

(Keep in mind, this math is only for an average draft, and teams overpay for a specific player they want in that specific draft.)

Touching back now, Brooklyn has #22 now as well. If we don't love anyone at 17 then can see us moving picks.

I'm not saying Demin will be a bust, but he shot 27% from 3, can't guard a traffic cone and is a turnover machine.

I think some folks are so enamored by his size as a PG prospect that they ignore what he is as a basketball player.

I still think that Demin and Sorber are likely targets for the Wolves, though.

Flemming is nice, and has a really freakish wingspan. Makes his measurables center level, close to Jarret Allen. He reminds me so much of Naz in his game.

Per the NBA TV Mock Draft that I watched today:

13. Queen
15. Coward
17. Demin
20. Clayton Jr
21. Sorber
22. Wolf

* Compared Clayton Jr to Brunson, a "stone cold winner" and guard most ready to contribute.

* They said Richardson has been dropping like a stone after measuring at 6'0 with serious concerns about his ability to defend, get through screens and get his own shot off.

* They really liked Sorber's BBIQ and fundamentals but consider him too small for a true C and nowhere near athletic enough to play PF.

* They liked Demin's size but said he's at least 2-3 years away from being a factor. Terrible defender, turnover machine but an excellent distributor.

He shot better in pro-league games than college. I don't think he's a PG though, should be used as a secondary creator. He needs to get a lot stronger, improve his handle and shot though. I see some Kyle Anderson, Joe Ingles, Diaw, Josh Giddey in his game. Could be worse at 17.

Any notes on Beringer? I might roll the dice at 17. Atlanta trading for KP might mean he falls to us there.
