He really needs to put out to PF, get some Big Defensive beast that only plays D and guards the rim in at C.

Re: **The Official Karl-Anthony Towns Thread**
So how disgruntled is KAT supposed to be? Does he hate Thibs? Is this making a big deal out of nothing? Would everything be better if we have a more successful season?

Interesting that he was in a southpaw boxing stance, he's not a natural lefty is he?

Re: **The Official Karl-Anthony Towns Thread**
Glen Taylor said the max has been offered to KAT. So step 1 is done, now we just need KAT to sign it.

KAT just completely dodged a question on CBS about signing a max extension. And Taylor said it's already been offered. But go ahead and just assume it's a done deal...

Also just completely dodged a question on the rumors about Butler not liking to play with him. Host also gave him a chance after he side stepped it to say he just ignores all of it. KAT just said he's there for the kids and gatorade, same answer for the first question and the extension lol.

Not a great sign, but then again once he signs it he loses a lot of leverage, so if he wants to get something done it's got to be done before he signs it. It's not normal seeing rookies taking their time on max deals, Booker's been agreed to for a while now.

Yeah. Plus Taylor made it weirdly clear that there is no timetable for KAT to sign it and they won't give him a deadline, so maybe KAT already told him he's not going to sign it yet.

It's just odd, the rookies(who get maxes) who don't sign/agree to the max extensions early in July usually are questionable, like Embiid and how much is guaranteed because of his history of injuries. Wiggins and Towns, who management is ready to hand the max to, not signing early isn't the norm.

I would say both of them are slightly questionable. Wiggins in the fact that we weren't ready to offer him the max off the bat. Remember Taylor had to have that dumb meeting about needing to improve before offering it. And Towns in the fact that he might not want to commit to being here the next 6 years.

Seems that Towns doesn't like some things(or person(s)?) in the team

“I think I’ve done a lot of things here. I’m very proud of the things I’ve been able to do so far,” Towns said in response to the final question of the session about whether he considers Minnesota a second home. “But I have a lot of things that have to be talked about, so I’ll move on.”

LOL Everything was sunshine and rainbows when Flip was in charge. Now with Thibs its like all doom and gloom.
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.

Thibs was just a bad hire, maybe when Lebron gets Walton fired, the wolves can hire him. Walton should have been their pick last time.

Re: **The Official Karl-Anthony Towns Thread**
I guess is, that we'll have another season with bad chemistry and tensions, but we reach the playoffs, lose in the first round, then Jimmy leaves for nothing, Thibs gets fired and we'll enjoy another rebuild. #justwolvesthings
