I haven't bought the NBA League Pass in about 3-4 years. Gonna have to this year.

I second this notion.
But I also heard League Pass has gotten better. Either way, you probably won't regret buying either one.

Even if it's better than it was (it was terrible) League Pass is still like $200 for all teams with blackouts.
I'll take the $60ish bill of ballstreams with no blackouts and DVR of past years games too.

IIRC, it's a really grey area in the law. Pretty sure that it's an illegal copyright violation in the USA, but it's not illegal in the country that hosts ballstream's servers.
Edit:
And under US law, only the copier (in this case, ballstreams) is in violation of copyright. So, anyone that uses the service should be fine.*

Re: The Positivity Thread
Just wanted to post to say how happy I am for you guys. Towns is going to be an amazing player. He reminds me of Rasheed Wallace, but without the craziness. He is going to be a damn good player for a long time, I'm glad you got him.

There has been a lot of b%#&ing and complaining about random stuff on these threads so here is something positive.

Re: The Positivity Thread
I'm getting really excited about the offensive potential of this team. The duo of Wiggins & Towns could be scary good, and I think Towns will be better right away offensively than most think. That's not even including guys like LaVine, Rubio, Martin or Bjelica. Defense will be the key to the team's growth, but we've seen how KG can have an effect on the team defense. I don't expect Towns to be Anthony Davis right away on that side of the ball, but he won't have to be when playing next to Garnett.

Once again leaving Shabazz out.
And you literally just told me he doesn't get slighted. Yet here you are, slighting him. Wiggins and towns can be scary good, why not shabazz? What is particularly off putting about his hand that you can overlook Wiggins and towns' flaws but not shabazz's? When he was healthy, he was playing much better than Wiggins, who had logged far more minutes in his career than shabazz has.
Carry on.

What did I say that was wrong? Did you or did you not leave Shabazz out there? How is that not slighting him? I don't understand what you're being defensive about. This is literally factual. There's no debate to be had here.

I think it's because he's getting crucified for excluding one player, I mean he also didn't place Dieng or the other dum dums we have at PF. And Dieng was probably our most reliable player this year apart from Wiggy. He played 70+ games and is definitely a part of our core. Klomp is just surprised you nitpicked him.

What did you say that was wrong? How about this?
ZellJr wrote: When he was healthy, he was playing much better than Wiggins, who had logged far more minutes in his career than shabazz has.
At the time Shabazz went down, their minutes were about the same. And Shabazz may have been outplaying him at the time (and that is debatable) but Wiggins was a 19 year old rookie with less than half a season of experience at the time while Shabazz was a 22 year old second year player. There is a debate to be had here.
And leaving someone off a list that was never intended to be comprehensive, whether it was intentional or not, is NOT slander. Your whole premise of Shabazz being slighted on this forum is flawed and you made that assumption based on two days of being here. In fact there has been a lot of Shabazz talk here in the last two years and a lot of posters think very highly of him. and we did have a Shabazz thread already that you didn't see because you didn't bother to look past page one.
You are the one being defensive here and you need to chill with the name calling (calling Klomp dense in the other thread).

I've actually been lurking for the past few years. I just recently registered, but that doesn't mean I haven't been here. I follow pretty much every game thread.C.lupus wrote:ZellJr wrote:Klomp wrote:Are you kidding me?!

And the age makes little difference when you're comparing a guy who's logged far more minutes than the other. Wiggins was playing 40 minutes a game since the start of the season. Bazz had logged a fraction of that.
And no one said anything about slander. Slighting and slander are not synonyms. It's a snub, which is synonymous with underappreciation. It's not something I would bring up if Klomp wasn't adamant on specifically NOT slighting shabazz. But here he is mentioning Bjelica(who hasnt even played), Towns(who hasnt played, and has looked less than stellar in summer league), etc. while leaving out Shabazz. That's just bizarre behavior.
Like I said, I've been around for a while. I follow the forum. And while there are a number of guys who legitimately appreciate him, the overall impression is that he's more of a sideshow for the rest of you. Which explains why you guys often leave him out of plans for the team's future.
Notice my key words. "Most", "Often", "Some". This does not mean all. Please, people, stop reaching for the low hanging fruit. Generalities are a thing. Generally does not mean always or all.

This is called THE POSITIVITY THREAD.
Keep your troll bait elsewhere. Bad start to your account imo.
This thread isn't here for you to start a flamewar about something that isn't real (i.e. most fans ACTUALLY really like Bazz on this board).
