Wes Johnson was also a 23 year old rookie. By the time Wiggins turns 23, he'll be coming off his rookie contract.

I happen to think the Wolves look like a 40 win team next year as our youth develops thus year and Pek/Rubio/Martin get healthy. And your response is to post this year's team's stats with 1/2 a PG. It's just not a feasible answer, you gotta do better.

But what do I know. I figured we'd hit 35 wins this year.

Rubio is not the difference between what they are now and 40 wins.. Saying when Pek and Martin get healthy also is fools gold because they have shown that they can't stay healthy

Rubio's minutes are going to the player that RPM says is the worst player in the league. We might not be winning 40 games with a healthy Rubio, but the difference might be more than you think.

Well there's two major things to consider with Rubios return. The biggest problem with the Wolves right now is defense. While Rubio is a really good defender, a perimeter defender isn't the type of player that can change a defense, your looking a big man defender. 2nd, just look at the point guards in the west;

Parker
Westbrook
Conley
Lillard
Curry
Paul
Dragic
Lawson
and now Rondo

you can argue that every one of those point guards are better then Rubio. It's pretty much murderers row in the West

My point though was that it's not just about how good Rubio is, it's also about how bad Lavine has been. According to 82games.com, the difference between Rubio and Lavine this year is 32 points per 100 possessions.
