Nobody else is involved in the game. I suppose if everyone is tuned into Edwards head things might go better. If that's possible.
In 3 quarters he had 30 minutes and 27 shots, 1 assist. I don't think anyone is being fair the the rest of the team. They will have to rely on the rest of the team if they want to win this one.
I know this your narrative and you’re going to stick to it, but you admitted to not watching the first half of the game already in this thread. You have no idea what happened. Anyone who was actually watching that first half was not upset to see Edwards take that many shots because he was one of only two people on the court for the Timberwolves who had a hope of putting it through the hoop.
I know what happens to others on a team when a ballhog is doing his thing that much. Since his shots were falling in I also know some of you are giddy about the rookie player going off. But the reality is all it takes is one look at his minutes and shots, and seeing only 1 assist and I knew...the rest of the team wasn't part of the gameplan so far. That's a quick way to ice your teammates too. For real, he had 30 minutes and 27 shots through three quarters.
As soon as he came off the court here in fourth others were hitting shots. Now he's back... the savior. If they choose to play like this more often, the rest of the team will have to get used to playing the way Jordan's teammates did. Getting used to just waiting for those two or three shots a night.
