Dude is mostly balling out offensively tonight, though.

Ant is an ok on the ball defender he just gets lost out there team wise. It will take a while.

I am going to be honest, he is an awful on-ball defensive player too. People blow by him and he has zero technique getting through screens. I see the claim that his on-ball defense is adequate, but I think even that is really concerning.

Ultimately, it won’t matter that much if he is decent and he becomes a top-tier scorer, though.

I know no one wants to admit this because Ant's actually got decent efficiency shooting going and has reached 30 already. But he's also shot 23 times already and they are in the 3rd quarter with 1 assist. Can't really expect much others to be involved in this game.

To be fair to Edwards, he could have 2-3 more assists. Set up some people pretty well in the first half... only promise is nobody else can hit a shot :banghead:

Nobody else is involved in the game. I suppose if everyone is tuned into Edwards head things might go better. If that's possible.

In 3 quarters he had 30 minutes and 27 shots, 1 assist. I don't think anyone is being fair the the rest of the team. They will have to rely on the rest of the team if they want to win this one.

Playing like week-old trash that's been rained on yet we are only down six. If guys could just wake up and start playing some good ball, game is winnable.

Ant should almost never have 10+ 3 point attempts a game. That usually means he's started chucking up bad shots.

He doesn't have much choice. Who else is going to get us a basket. He and Kat have carried the team all night. You wouldn't have complained if he made it.

One hot shooting stretch from the 3pt line would be really good about now. Shooing 6-28 on 3s has killed the Wolves tonight.

I know this your narrative and you’re going to stick to it, but you admitted to not watching the first half of the game already in this thread. You have no idea what happened. Anyone who was actually watching that first half was not upset to see Edwards take that many shots because he was one of only two people on the court for the Timberwolves who had a hope of putting it through the hoop.

I know what happens to others on a team when a ballhog is doing his thing that much. Since his shots were falling in I also know some of you are giddy about the rookie player going off. But the reality is all it takes is one look at his minutes and shots, and seeing only 1 assist and I knew...the rest of the team wasn't part of the gameplan so far. That's a quick way to ice your teammates too. For real, he had 30 minutes and 27 shots through three quarters.

As soon as he came off the court here in fourth others were hitting shots. Now he's back... the savior. If they choose to play like this more often, the rest of the team will have to get used to playing the way Jordan's teammates did. Getting used to just waiting for those two or three shots a night.
