Whatever Dame wants. He's their KG. If he wants out then you accommodate it as best you can. If he wants to run it back you try your best. He's earned that.

The dream is a Jokic vs Embiid finals. My God that would be some heavyweight action and a big statement to the league that small ball sucks LOL.

Speaking of Embiid, I am very curious to see what Capela does with him. Capels absolutely owned KAT in that playoff matchup and he owned the Knicks. I know Emiid is bigger and stronger but I could see Capela causing some problems. That should be a fun matchup to watch!

I'd be surprised if Embiid plays. That tear, with his history, isn't something anyone should be betting on.

And if he's gone I wouldn't be surprised if the Hawks advance. The Sixers look like a completely different team without him.

Shows just how over rated Simmons is.

I wouldn't be shocked to see Dame paired up with Butler or Beal this off-season. Don't know where but I could see it happening. I think all three of those guys know they aren't in a position to do very much next season. I think we are going to have a crazy off-season again. I'm hoping the wolves can get in on it and land a nice player.

I think Portland could offer McCollum, Jones Jr and an unprotected 1st for Jimmy.

A Heat fan on the Trade Board was trying to convince people that Butler would bring back the whole Paul George package, and he and Harden set the trade price for Jimmy.

When Common takes the Preposterous Statement contest National, I think we have a contender.

Mine? I guess I am lower on Jimmy after this year and his contract demands than others.

Yours is reasonable. His is insane, unless the team gets a free Kawhl again for his price.

Yeah realistically its Portland throwing in a protected 2025 1st or something to get it done.

Someone just told me on the T&T board that the Heat have no incentive to trade Butler. Well buddy, there is plenty of incentive, 186 Million dollars worth of incentives.

No incentive? Butler will be 32 tihs season, he still has some good years left but the decline is coming sooner or later, they probably have a 2-3 year window to get a title before he could fall off a cliff. They can keep Butler sure but they have a lot of ground to make up fast to be contending.

Again, this is why I think Butler was crazy to leave the Sixers, that was his best chance to win a title with a good team. In hindsight he was maybe even better off sticking with the wolves because at least he had Towns and you could build off of that. I think he has something with Miami but Bam isn't the second or maybe even third fiddle type, he needs at least one other legit star, probably two.

Embiid was healthy and looked fantastic but the Sixers were getting the breaks beat off of them. That said they made it a game in the end. Definitely not how I imagined this first game would go. Capela also wasn't able to do much to stop Embiid, he just seems too small for him.

Its looking like a PG who can't shoot just can't work without a mega ton of offensive talent around him. You got to have scorers these days and shooting is a big part of that.

Porzingis getting bodied. I could see them trading him.

Add the Mavericks to the teams who will probably be making some big moves. Richardson has been a major let down for them. I think Beasleys value (which there are rumors is low right now due to his troubles) is going to rise this off-season. Teams have to have bonafide shooters/scorers these days and lot of guys just aren't that at a high enough volume. I am pretty sure Dallas, New York, Lakers, Miami, would love to have a player like Beasley on their team for the playoffs. Those guys are just too necessary.

I still want him on our team but if we think it's best to trade him for another peace I think there will be a good market, he could make a big difference as a starter or a high minutes bench guy. Seth Curry, Bodonavic, Harris, and to lesser extent, Austin Rivers are all making big splashes for their squads with great shooting.

I agree with about all thoughts here.

Porzingis is looking like a top ten worst contract in the league contender. He used to be able to protect the rim, but he’s so non-mobile now, his rim protection numbers are bad and he can’t move at all on the perimeter. He’s a 30m shooter who can’t move essentially. They better hope some of his athleticism returns.

Simmons has improved none on the offensive end. You can’t be a complete nonshooter and be a star in this league. It’s compounded by the fact their best player does his work in the post, which is clogged by Simmons’ man.

Dame isn’t going anywhere unless he asks to go. I don’t see that. McCollum might have to be the one heading out to get a better compliment but it’ll be tough.
