Bro, you really overthinking. A month ago we had NO candidate for PG of the future. Now we have Rob. Four months ago we did not have a starting PG under contract for next season!

Now we have TWO point guards:
Conley for next two seasons for 10 mil per year
Rob for next four season for 7 mil per year

This is an excellent job done by our FO. Lets just appreciate it and keep enjoying this summer without famous doomer mentality of MIN fans.

I have been a Minnesota fan a long time. It is hard to ask me to put aside my “doomer mentality.” I get the sense the board only wants positivity, and I do try and add some in when I can.

If the Suns are blaming their demise solely on not having a backup PG, then they have bigger issues. That's way down on the list of reasons why we swept them.

Did I say backup? Did they bring in Monte to play backup I wonder? It will be really interesting to see who closes games for them this year.

They are not starting or closing games with someone who makes the minimum over someone making $50 million

So you think their closing lineup is Beal/Booker/Allen/KD/Nurk

with a mindset of whatever happens, happens?

Also, didn’t Malik Beasley start for the Bucks on a minimum?

What guard in Milwaukee was making $50 million?

Besides Dame, Middleton was on a big contract but not 50. I think you just don’t value PGs, which is fine, but why should Mike start and close games over Naz if PGs are overrated? Naz can shoot, defend the SF, and would be a tougher matchup. Maybe it’s because PGs actually do have value. Maybe that’s why when Mike sat down or offense struggled so much last year. Just a thought.

Mike's value isn't in him being a point guard. It's in him being a very good, smart basketball player.

How do you define smart basketball player in this context. Why is he smarter than Naz or NAW?

Look who played pseudoPG in second play. Europe might lack NBA talent, but does not lack good coaching.

P.S. Here is Giannis caught by box-and-one tactic.

I found interesting that in this particular game Dozier played more with the ball, initiating offense, while Monte Morris played more off the ball.

Can Dozier be integral part of bench unit as help defender, big PG?

I can see Dozier taking all garbage minutes next to Dillingham helping young PG
