Re: Paris Olympics Thread
Ant playing one of the worst games I've ever seen from him. Absolutely no effort or awareness on defense. No idea what he's doing on offense.
If we come back to win, its all because of Curry.
Also, Kerr should not be coaching this game. He's been exposed as nothing more that a decent coach that had a truly a great team. Spoelstra should have the job.

Absolutely agree about Kerr

Re: Paris Olympics Thread
You know who would be great for this team in 2028?! Jaden McDaniels.
Knows how to buy into a role despite being insanely talented. Defensive menace. And a IDGAF attitude.

Re: Paris Olympics Thread
In the gold medal game, who will Ant try harder to put on a poster, Rudy or Victor?

Not sure Rudy will play much. 4 mins in the QF, 5 min in the SF, that finger injury/coach might keep Rudy down most of the game.

Re: Paris Olympics Thread
Rudy struggle but Wemby too. The way french play without good passing guy does not allowed them to get bucket inside. Speed is also another factor. Defense intensity is really high on this team and Rudy is too slow for this style of play. Wemby is a but better but is far from being an important player, Yabuschele, Cordinier, Lessort who are all shining in Euroleague are the leaders. I do hope Rudy retire from French team after getting in final in France and focus on staying healthy and efficient for us.

When is the final?
I'd rather have a bottle in front of me than a frontal lobotomy.

NBC seems to be delaying the broadcast to 2:30pm, to show USA in Women’s soccer at 10 am, then some track finals.
Stay away from the news.

Re: Paris Olympics Thread
From a TWolves perspective, I’d like to see Ant and Rudy go off, but I want to see Rudy set some bone-crushing screens on Ant, so he will realize he should start taking advantage of those screens, rather than always wave them off during the season.
Decent start for both after one quarter.

It’s a Michael Jordan reference.
In 1990, the Bulls drafted the European star who stayed overseas for two years. In 1992, the DreamTeam faced his Croatia team for the gold medal in the Olympics. Jordan and Pippen both kept demanding to guard Kukoc, and make his life miserable. Welcome to the Michael Jordan experience, Toni!

Can confidently say that Anthony Edwards has played his last Olympics minute this year, after that pass.
