The Suns have been wanting Love for a long time but there just always seem to be obstacles. Just interested in your input.

1. Would Love actually WANT to be in Phoenix. If not, its a deal-breaker?
2. Would it be possible to trade for him without gutting the team? There is no point in making a trade that leaves your team worse than when you started.
3. I think the Suns would put any asset they have on the table except Bledsoe and Dragic.

I assume everyone is waiting for the draft lottery to occur before any real trade discussion occurs.

I think he has that sort of feel too. But I feel like he's also the type that would be easily injury prone.

I agree with this. I see him as someone that can't fail. Just seems to give more of a damn than anyone else in the draft, similar to Oladipo in last year's crap. Seems like a guy like Lillard that could step into a franchise from day one and become THE man.

And1 for that.

You can see Sullinger has good form and a good stroke on his jumper despite the %. Also shows his passing ability and rebounding.

Before all of this Love talk, I think most fans in Boston were perfectly content with building around Rondo and Sullinger.

This really shows why we love Sully, he can do a bit of everything. Excellent rebounder, makes smart passes, can shoot a bit and play with his back to the basket. He just has a very high basketball IQ, he's one of those guys whose father was a coach and it really shows. I think what he needs to do next is transform his body the same way Love did a few seasons back. From his exit interviews it sounds like that's his plan for this summer.

You guys really like Sullinger THAT much? That's surprising.

If I was a Minnesota fan, I wouldn't want David Lee either. MAYBE if I got Klay Thompson too, but still, David Lee in the frontcourt with those centers doesn't seem like it would work. And it certainly isn't worth taking on Lee's contract just to get Barnes (who had a pretty bad season). And they have no picks.

What do you think of this offer?

Phoenix sends Goodwin and the 14 to Philly

Philly sends Thaddeus Young to you.
Phx sends Frye, the 27th pick, the Lakers 2015 1st (probably a pick around 7th-10th), and the Suns 2016 pick. (Or we send the 18th to Philly and our 2015 pick to you instead of the 2016 pick).

This gives you a good stretch 4 or even another 5 in case you could move Pek later in Frye. And more importantly a very athletic great starting 4 in Thaddeus Young (much better than Sullinger or Green and more bang for the buck by far than David Lee). This gives you a very versatile starter and backup and options in the frontcourt.

So you may not take much of a step back (if one at all this year because of an improved bench at PF), and you would then have two first round picks this year, and 2-3 first round picks next year or 1-2 next year and 2 the following year.

If we take a deal with Boston and we get like a 4th pick.

You take Exum (if is available at 4th) or Smart to play with Rubio ?

Neither can shoot, but Exum is more likely to get there sooner than Smart. I guess it would mainly be your bench guy (at least for a couple of years), but still probably Exum.

IMO Phx has no chance to make a deal. A lot of late picks, and the players aren´t that great. Yes, they had a good year, but nothing special.

You got to give away Dragic or Bledsoe to get some attencion. IMO

Not as a stand alone piece but something with Sully + #5 pick as a base? Yes.

Lee, Thompson, Barnes for Love, Shved, and Bazz works. as well as a number of other combinations.

I would rather have that then a pick, to be honest. I'm tried of the Wolves picking the wrong guy.

We still have a 2.2% chance to keep Love and have a bright future.

Lakers pick is unprotected? Because that changes a lot the possible deal.

You picked the one pick Boston has no chance of getting. They can only get 1, 2, 3, 5, 6, 7, 8.

top 5 protected and 7th-10th is not giving LA enough credit for possible changes this off-season. We could end up where you ended up a few years ago when Clipps owned your picks and everybody thought it was worth so much in that Gordon/Cp3 trade, turned out to be Austin Rivers
