I aint taking Mobley in top 3. He lacks the aggression to be a dominant big, he won’t retain the same value Cunningham, Suggs and Green will after 3-4 years in the league.

Averaging 16 on 58% passively, I’ll def take that. This team already has enough players who will shoot it so a player who doesn’t rely on having plays designed for him would be ideal. Especially if they bring defense which we lack.

Evan Mobley stats:
16.5 pts, 8.8 rebs, 3.0 blk, 58 FG%, 30 3pt%

Anthony Davis (Kentucky) stats:
14.2 pts, 10.4 reb, 4.7 blk, 62 FG%, 15 3pt %

When have we heard this theory before...every season?

I wonder when it was the last time this teams top draft choice wasn't a bpa choice regardless of position. Maybe the Okogie choice? But that was a #20 choice. How often I wonder has the team used a top 6 pick on something less than a BPA. They've had many picks in that range I think.

So according to this theory if there was a Luka Doncic in the draft we should leave a franchise player on the plate to take a potential john collins just why "he fits"?

I never agree with that. If I see the right potential I always choose it.

Or it could be passing on Shaun Livingston for Anthony Davis.

When you have a max player PG and a #1 overall SG then yeah I don’t think you should draft another guard (Suggs, Cade) without trading one of the others. Especially when the Best Fit is just as skilled as the guards (Rankings are Cade, Mobley, and Suggs atm)

There isn’t a Luka type player until 2023 and that’s Emoni Bates. Then idc if you have Kawhi, and KD you draft him and make it work

I always thought that Mobley was a C.

If he has lateral quickness to guard also small/quicker PF and can play 20-25 minutes next to KAT, he is a no brain choice.

Kispert is moslty a jump-shooter, mainly from distance but also from mid-range. Timme is the guy that USC will need to hold inside, while Ayayi and Suggs are the guys that are a bigger threat to drive and put pressure on the bigs around the rim.

USC has done well the past couple of games but they're still prone to dry spells on offense. They're a decent offensive team, just not a great one. Even if you have solid D and a fantastic anchor inside like Evan Mobley, it's very tough to hang with a scoring machine like the Bulldogs. They play at a much higher pace than USC is used to, their players are rotating constantly on the perimeter and they never stop attacking.

Baylor doesn't always play as fast as Gonzaga, either, but they could have a better chance because their defensive intensity sizes up pretty well with the Zags' offense. However they don't have real big men to help contain Timme, there would need to be a joint effort by Vital -short, but super strong and heavy-, JTT and Thamba to keep Drew away from the basket (and yet he also operates very well from the high post, so you never know how effective it'll be).

I'm really hoping for a National Championship game between the Bulldogs and the Bears. They've been the best two teams in the country this year (I had Baylor ahead of Illinois) and they're both super fun to watch.

Not really. We still get to see our Wolves play until May so thats something to look forward to if you want to keep getting disappointed

While a Mobley/Mcdaniels forward combo would be great defensively. Rosas can’t be the gm that passes on Green, Suggs or Cunningham.

If the wolves don’t keep it theres a very good chance Rosas won’t be there for the 2022 draft.
