Nets are looking better than I thought and I had them as a likely title winner.

Real question. In the 2021 NBA can you be a true number 1 NBA superstar if you can't shoot?

3 years ago basically even with Denver. 2 years ago almost twice as many wins as last place Phoenix.

Wow, Suns are destroying the Nuggets, they will have to make a statement in game 3 at home or this series may be over.

Think its interesting the big 3 from Lob City that was so good 5-10 years ago have a chance to meet in the finals with Paul as #2 on his team and Blake as #4/5 and Jordan as #10 or worse on their team.

I expect it to be a clippers/nets finals.

Rubio must be happy if Jazz and Suns meet in the western conference finals. Last two teams he was on meeting on the conference finals would've elated him

In their last game the announcers were calling the 76ers big three Embiid, Harris and Seth Curry. Simmons not even mentioned with his four points, he had to be taken out of the game, at the end because his free throw shooting is abysmal as well.
Simmons nut huggers will say he shut down Trae but Trae was off all game even when Simmons was out.

I could still make an argument for almost any team in the west, but that might change after Clips-Jazz tonight.

I thought Denver had a good chance to make it to the finals but man they have not looked great against the Suns. They might just turn it up at home but if they drop this next home game, goodnight. It's cool to see Jokic and Embiid be this mega factors as centers but they badly needs some smalls to step up.

Looks like Capela can't do anything against Embiid. Shame because that is where the Hawks would really need him.

Welp, Elite big man number 1, Jokic is done, got to get some guard help. Let's see if the Sixers can give Embiid enough help to go deep.

Did anyone else think Jokers Flagrant 2 should have been a common foul? I mean Joker definitely made contact with his arm and shoulder, but the swipe seemed to hit all ball. I watched a replay from a bunch of angles and it seems like any face contact was purely from Jokers body not his hand. At worst call it a F1 and let him stay in the game.

Call me crazy but I think Ant is better than Porter Jr. Right now. I think MPJ will be really good but Edwards seems more unguardable when he gets going.

Agreed. The only person who can stop him is Ant himself. Kid is very good.

Kind of think last night was series for the Nets. Bucks had to put them away when they were on the ropes.

If Leonard and Paul miss considerable time, along with Harden’s injuries, injuries are going to become the story of these playoffs and people will blame the condensed season. Although, sounds like Paul’s might be covid exposure related.

Seems like a viable strategy is just to have a really deep team. Injuries are so common and you never know what star may go down in the post-season. Having a team that can throw lots of talented bodies out there may be able to outlast some better teams just because of depth.

I really like where we are heading with trying to find a lot of role guys with later picks and cheap pickups. I hope we continue to try and get deep. If would be nice to have a guy like Beasley step in if Ant gets hurt or maybe a year 3 Naz would be able to do damage if KAT has to miss a few games. A guy like Bolmero on the bench could be massive if someone goes down for a series.
