1. Use the trade exemption and give 2 2nd round picks (maybe throw in Knight.)

2. Layman and 2 seconds for Reed and a throw in player.

3. Nowell and a 2nd for Reed.

I would do all 3 of those trades for Reed.

That is what caught my eye, then I did the research and it got my attention. In addition to a solid summer league and a good preseason, look at these numbers and tell me you wouldn’t pull the trigger on any of those deals.

With all due respect, you should probably avoid the thread titled “Around the League 2021-2022” if you are bothered by people posting non-Minnesota related highlights. Alternatively, you could also just enjoy some cool highlights and not turn it into a LaMelo Ball vs. Anthony Edwards pissing contest.

I was asking a serious question if we could do that

Ah, sorry, I thought it was a snarky sideswipe, my fault. I'll ask, but I don't think it is possible to mute certain phrases as a general user, because the website would register that for everyone, unfortunately. RealGM is kinda weird.

We got a wing defender for him. And have dlo, Bev and Jmac for pgs. What is Rubio going to do here?

Prince barely plays, Ricky>beverly and jmac get real! Cleveland won that trade good for them they needed it.

So, I need to stop you right there. First, we got a trade exemption which will almost certainly get used by the deadline. We got an extra second which will also likely get moved by the deadline, and we got the most important thing of the offseason, we dumped Ricky. Ricky is starting well, but last season the term dumpster fire was generous. He played a large role in sinking the first half and was all over the place in the second half. Ricky had some truly great games with us, but he also had some games were uncontested layups were too much for him. Beverly is miles ahead of Rubio on defense and dollars to donuts will be more consistent this season. Even if Prince is a dud (not at all clear yet,) we still won the trade just by virtue of Ricky being elsewhere and not having to take a bad salary back. Two good games for Ricky does not an all star make.

As much as I wanted Ricky to be here. I think the Cavs made the trade to make Mobley's life easier the same way Rubio influenced ANT last year. It's no surprise that Mobley is playing well to start the season.

Wonder if PHX is going to be affected by the ownership controversy that appears to be brewing.

I don't know that Rubio would be the same here. Maybe he would but the Cavs are probably letting him be the field general out there where here we had him in a certain role he wasn't great in. He seems to be flourishing with the freedom.

Oh great watch the Lamelo MVP talk start in the media even if Bridges’ unexpected hot streak is the main reason for the Hornet’s record.

They looked shaky as hell but they are 3-0 and Lamello is balling out, I wont doubt him, it's early but 24,6, and 6 are great numbers, all star caliber.

I don’t get the Ball hate. Ball and Edwards are two of the most fun players to enter the league in awhile. I think both will have several all-star appearances. Wiseman on the other hand, not good.

Yea. I didn't like how the media/fans were all over Lamello from day 1 and never stopped but to his credit, he has proved them right. I thought it was going to be Lonzo all over again (fans going nuts for him Lakers summer league when he was just meh, they screamed every time he touched the ball). Even Lonzo has taken massive strides though and have become a really good player. It's very rare we see someone who can't shoot, turn into a serviceable shooter like he has. Pretty remarkable and that whole family deserves a lot of praise.

Culver can’t get any playing time even with Brooks out, his nba career may be over soon.
