I think the Wolves are going to need an upgrade at backup point guard. McLaughlin is fine during the regular season, but he is just not good enough to be in a playoff rotation.

JMac can’t get minutes in the playoffs. He just can’t. We need to upgrade backup PG this offseason. Hopefully someone younger that can take over for Conley longterm.

And Ant has to play better. At least offensively for us to win.

Impressed with KAT's composure and ability to avoid fouling so far.

just when you say that Kat now has 2. :)

He swiped right after that, but made no contact, luckily.

I don’t know if we can afford to take him out, but he needs to keep his cool, like the first quarter.

Yep, he is so much better when he's under control. He was the best player on the floor in the first quarter and some change. he starts fouling and getting emotional though and things will spiral.

Jmac is unplayable right now. Gotta ride with Nowell and NAW as the ball handlers when Conley sits.

Team looks really bad on both ends when Towns is out.

Yea, I liked Jmac's game a lot but it hasn't progressed. He is still a solid 3rd string PG but dude should not be the primary back up.

You’re right. But, Ant has good quarters and bad quarters.

If Towns can keep us close, Ant might come up big in the second half.

Part of his maturity, he is helping on the defensive end even he is not scoring. Need to get better on those short passes.

Conley needs to get going

Jmac is killing us.

Need Ant in attack mode in the 2nd half.

The Lakers are foul hunting Towns right now too, he has to be really careful. They are going at him on both ends.

We've got that PG Spagnola coming up and he looks great.

This is where the absences of Rudy, Jaden and Naz are KILLING us. With them healthy, Jordan is DNP-CD. Without them, more multiple-guard lineups forces Jordan into the game.

As long as he stays out foul trouble, KAT's going to have to basically play this entire game the way he's playing and the way the game is going.

I agree, but in playoff-shortened rotations, I think the plan would be to back up Conley with SloMo and Ant.

They just need SloMo to play as a big, because of the guys being out.

For those who complain about the refs, we just got a favorable call on Vanderbilt goaltending
