Gobert is big advantage on screens. The best MIN player so far

I think you’ll see this as the season progresses. But game one, with guys that don’t really know each other, national TV, and on the road, I can see why we went with the calming vet.

Ingles cannot rebound, defend, or use his energy to pump guys up. Minott can. Minott helps win games, Jingles risks them.

Conley has been a disaster I blame
Finch for this one though, lineups have been awful.

It makes me sad to say it, Mike Conley has been awful tonight on both ends.

Sad to say it, but Mike Conley can’t be out there if he’s playing like this.

Transition defense is an issue.

Jaden sits and our defense disappears. Also I really wish Finch would call timely timeouts. When they went up 8 he needs to calm things down. Instead we are down 10 and they have momentum.

I like Mike but pg is still a need. I get Rob is supposed to be the future but I think we need a younger, established pg.

My fear is that the only way to get it would be by including Jaden and sacrificing it defensive identity. But if he can’t stay out of foul trouble, how beneficial is he??

This is a total team effort tonight…or lack thereof

We had two younger backup PGs but we let them walk.

We are going to need a lot more from the supporting cast. Mike with 5. Jaden with 6. Randle with 9. Wont cut it, someone has to step up and be a threat.

Positive - have appreciated the play of the bench guards. DD/NAW looked solid.

Ants distribution has not been there tonight.

Ant without KAT isn’t hero mode, it’s Herozilla.

Well, if Randle keeps giving no effort I can see TC trading him and DET 1st for a player on similar long-term contract.

ANT did the same thing last year in fourth quarters. It has nothing to do with KAT.
