If IF IF McDaniels can ever get consistency in his offense his contract will be a big time bargain.

His contract is already a big time bargain.

Jaden is a guy we want in the playoffs. WCF or bust for Finch.

We had to take advantage with Luka not at 100 percent. LeBron picked up some of the slack, but we stepped up in the 4th. We still missed a lot of open shots in the first three quarters, so there’s still room for improvement.

The KAT trade could prove to be a stroke of genius. I know we took a step back this year regular season, but all that matters is the playoffs. I think we are this years Mavericks. Time will tell.

This series is an ideal matchup for him defensively. His physicality works well on Lebron and Luka and they can't beat him with their footspeed.
The Kyrie Irvings and SGA types are hard covers for us. But they were for KAT too.

I still think that trade lowered our ceiling quite a bit but so far in the playoffs we are maximizing the group we have.
Hopefully we can stay healthy and catch some magic.

We saw tonight what the future can look like.
We talk a lot about KAT, Rudy, and Julius, but the key to building around Ant is maximizing Jaden McDaniels.

If wolves clean it up they should honestly win with low difficulty.

I still feel they don’t pressure Luka enough. Hit him every time down the floor, offense and defense

I believe our skill sets match up superbly against the Lakers. We should win in 5.

That's what I was thinking but I have seen some really smart basketball people say this is the ideal matchup for the Lakers. I didn't agree but we have seen them play us hard two straight games. They are definitely a tough opponent and pose some problems for us.
When luck shuts the door skill comes in through the window.

He's been awesome. I'm a huge KAT guy but feel like Randle has been more effective for us in these last two games than KAT probably was for most playoffs. KAT was incredible with his defense last season and he definitely hit some big shots too but Randle has been more of an effective offensive weapon and not terrible on defense either.

Maybe a small time bargain. I don't really care. I'd just love him to have offense like tonight and game 1 more regularly.

This. And he couldn't get a call all night long and shot zero free throws and kept his composure.

This is what growth looks like.

Anyone on here in the crowd tonight? What was it like?

I feel like some Wolves fans on here still have some sort of preconceived notions on Ant...he has improved his decision making and playmaking so much in a short span but you still see people treat him as some low iq chucker.

It was crazy. I never seen Target Center this pack and this loud. They gave out waving towels. The stadium speakers were turned up a notch too. Stadium exploded when Ant made that 4th qtr dunk. After the game was over, people were still chatting "Luka sucks" and "Wolves in 5" as we go down the escalator. Took forever to get home because it was so packed and close game until last minute. Twins playing tonight too so parking was a little more difficult.

So Jaden went playoff mode again. Does anyone still want to trade him for KD? Does anyone still want to give Finch an excuse not to give Jaden 10-15 shots every single game (sometimes more?) I have been saying Jaden needs to shoot more and attack. 30 in game 3, 25 in game 1, and only 8 in game 2. 63/3 =21. Jaden is averaging 21 points this series. Playoff Jaden is a thing, and I would rather have him at 24 than KD at 37.

Just back from golf and look again the second half in replay. We play huge, Jaden was fantastic and play with Donkic all night long on offense. All Star level. Randle is huge for the series , didn't thing it will happen and ANT finally show he is not a boy anymore. MVP performance in the 4th. Rudy did a goo job in defense but the rest is awful. Mike bounce back after game 2 and hit 7 points in the 4th when we deeply need them, DDV was great in defense and was really important. 2 words : NAZ Reid, clutch player. Only NAW struggle a bit but he give all in defense as well. Still a long way to go but tonight was a huge performance.

The Reid/Randle/McDaniels/Edwards/DiVincenzo lineup was a pretty good closing lineup against what LAL could put out there.
