If we shoot better, we win. Game plan was fine. Hopefully SGA doesn’t have such a soft whistle all series, so we can keep McDaniels on the floor next game.

Wishful thinking on that soft whistle thing. :)

Coaching has been very strange for me . Playing the bench so long when they are so bad. Playing Rudy only 22 min when he got only 2 fouls?
Mike just score 7 in the third, the only player who don't turn over the ball and get the positive =/-...and he sit for 10 min..... Finch is really surprising sometimes.

Our bench shot 7-34 for 21 points. They shot 5-26 from deep. This was posted with just over 4 minutes to play.

Update: 2 minutes later 7-36 for 21 points and 5-28 from deep.

Just hard to overcome how different the game is reffed.

SGA shoots 35% and has good efficiency because the refs bail him out 85% of the time.

FYI, We have a physical playmaker in TSJ, but Finch barely gave him any minutes this season to prep him.

You can’t flinch with this OKC team, but we can do better.

If Naz and Dante continue to be awful then this is not going to be a competitive series. Especially with the refs taking Jaden out of games.

Was Rudy playing that bad? I know he wasn’t scoring much but wasn’t he helping with second opportunities?

2 level of difference tonight. We play at their level 28 min but they keep pushing when we stop to play well. We know what we have to do better , if not series will end quite fast.

It's gotta be frustrating to players how games are called. First round you could get away with murder to being called like this. Just call it one way or another

DDV was supposed to be our volume shooter this year, but he has shown zero of that this postseason. Do we need to acquire/draft the best shooter we can get this offseason?

Disagree. They shifted their defense to take away Randle and encourage more open 3s. We shot 15 of 50 in competitive minutes. That might be survivable if most were contested like Boston. The vast majority were wide open. If we shoot. 30% on wide open 3s and let them get long rebounds and run on us, we will lose. It isn’t about us suddenly not playing well, it is about our bench never playing well.

When Rudy was taken out Holmgren dominated us.
