Wolf Addict and anybody else who cares, I went to the condensed games from yesterday and came away with some thoughts. Who the hell is Nae'Qwan Tomlin who scored 30 for Cleveland. He looked a bit like our TSJ. I'll keep most of my comments to the rookies. Proctor was solid, Kam Jones invisible. Brooklyn took 3 of the most highly regarded PGs in the draft. Demin and Saraf were bad and Traore was decent. Danny Wolf who some wanted us to draft went 0-5 with 6 rebounds and 4 TOs. to be continued.

Kings vs Magic. The Kings got to be thrilled with their first look at Raynaud. Another French player I believe. He was simply relentless out there and showed inside out ability with good defense. Nique Clifford also looked good. For Orlando Jase Richardson shot well, but little else, Da Silva lit it up and Penda was solid.

Super skinny (6/10, 205) forward on a 2-way. Played in 5 NBA games last year. Was OK in the G League. Very good athlete, but still quite raw skill-wise at 24 years-old.

Lakers vs Mavericks
Bronny made a 3 to open the game and sucked the rest of the game.
Swider was dominant. Great shooting double double with 6 3s.
Flagg couldn't buy a basket shooting 5-21, but other than the bad shooting played well with steals, blocks, boards assists and strong defense.
Ryan Nembhard who should be on our SL team did it all.

Thanks, He looked like a man among boys in this one game.

Portland must think Timberwolves was going to draft Yang, so traded with Grizzlies. It makes sense as Connelly must see a little Joker in Yang. In just one summer league game, Yang already look like a better Gobert feeder than the entire Wolves team. Kids got natural talent seeing the floor and great passing touch. He is still a couple years away from adjusting to NBA speed.

Yang's game Thursday was very good. Showed versatility assisting and shooting from 3.

It wasn’t so much Portland traded up for Yang as it was the Griz traded up for Coward, giving up an unprotected first to make sure they got him. I know “experts” think Yang was a reach, but I love that guy. He was the most fun guy to watch during the combine and looked good last night. I’m here for the Yang experience. Hope he does well.

Flagg with 31 in a loss, but only 8-13 from the line. I doubt it will be a problem though.

It doesn’t say how much they are paying him. I wonder if we could have afforded him?

think Bucks had their bi-annual exception or room exception still, so that unless he just took the minimum

Kyle Fillipowski and Sensabaugh look like are the best prospects that UTA got after Gobert trade. Tells us about average hit/miss ratio in draft.

Selected Taylor Hendricks (1st round, 9th pick), Keyone George (1st round, 16th pick) and Brice Sensabaugh (1st round, 28th pick) in the 2023 NBA Draft.

Selected Cody Williams (1st round, 10th pick), Isaiah Collier (1st round, 29th pick) and Kyle Filipowski (2nd round, 32nd pick) in the 2024 NBA Draft.

Selected Ace Bailey (1st round, 5th pick), Will Riley (1st round, 21st pick), Jamir Watkins (2nd round, 43rd pick) and John Tonje (2nd round, 53rd pick) in the 2025 NBA Draft. June 25, 2025: Traded Will Riley, Jamir Watkins, a 2031 2nd round draft pick and a 2032 2nd round draft pick to the Washington Wizards for Walter Clayton Jr.. 2031 2nd-rd pick is more favorable 2032 2nd-rd pick is UTA own

Minus Conley, NAW, Sexton, Collins.

Beal is officially bought out by PHO and then signs a 2-year deal with the Clippers.

Somehow I forgot that Beal is 32yo, Kawhi is 34yo and Harden is 35yo.

Yes but that also have Lopez that is 37 and Batum 36. They also have young guys Zubac 28 and Collins 27. It is still a loaded team and should be a 50+ win team again. Wolves can finish anywhere from #2 to #8.
