I have seen many situation where Wiggins could step up as weak side help defender. Is it just me or he isn't completely involved in team defense? Same with team rebounds, he looks non interested here.

Andrew Wiggins has no ceiling.
I don't think that the nickname mapple Jordan was given to him without a reason.
I have write it many times that he has better tools than Lebron and he can end up a better player

One thing about Wiggins is that he gets up for big moments: be it a marque match-up vs LeBron or Durant, a nationally televised game against the champs or, hopefully, a playoffs game. And a fully engaged Andrew is a sight to behold.

Solid Defense. Got in passing lanes for steels, keep between his man and basket, switches were on time, helped contained curry a few time. Also dove for the ball in crunch time, had some timley rebounds and involved himself in scrums. Zach had some good on ball moments too, forced some TOs and played Thompson well. Added strength/weight will make these guys even better.

Zach had way too many off the ball lapses with Thompson tonight imo. He really needs to raise his game night in and night out with being aware where the ball is and his man. I agree with more strength and some seasoning they should both become at least adequate defenders.

Which one? There's about 25 ridiculous threads on that board at any given time.

And it would have to be one of the General board mods to lock it..

The hate and homerism is pretty even on both sides.

Seems like strength is the main thing holding him back with rebounding.

He has great lower body strength (which is why he's a good post up player), though upper body strength is critical for rebounding, especially the biceps. Personally I've always found upper body strength overrated in basketball, but if there's one thing that it's vital for, it's rebounding.

well... it is more about positioning, box out techinique and willinges to do dirty work. but if you try to leak out for easy points or lose your concentration on defensive rebounds, then you probable wont get any rebound.

Pacers' chanting section chanted "Andrew Wiggins, Andrew Wiggins" while Kevin Love was at the line.
