Crazy playoffs, still no home team win a game yet in 2nd round.

will be pretty upset if Knicks get a ring before us :)... but happy overall for KAT.

OKC now owns the record for the most points in any half in any playoff game ever, at 87.

We trade KG, he gets a ring that year. We trade K Love he gets a ring that year. We trade Wiggins, it takes him a few years, but he gets a ring. Thankfully this did not apply to Jimmy who we were forced to trade. But don’t be surprised if KAT does in fact get a ring before Ant.

You’re down 39 early in the 3rd and you leave your starters in for the rest of the quarter. Given that game 3 is two days later in altitude, do you call it a night? The only advantage to keeping them out there is it forces OKC to keep their guys active. My question is whether that is worth it?

We may end up with a GSW vs NYK final :)

It’s like all the losing teams this round are trying their best to outdo each other.

We thought the wolves loss was bad but my goodness, Cavs, Celtics, and the Nuggets all have bad losses.

That good? No, but they are pretty darn good. I think they (OKC) have the right tools to make Denver look bad, especially if MPJ is injured. Granted, he isn't instant office, but he usually can hit his open shots.

Yeah, Denver just isn’t the same after changing that championship team. Okc is good but not that good. Den has also shown that they’ll throw in the towel if things get ugly since the wolves beat them.

I wasn't sure where to put this but it appears that Michael Grady is leaving the Wolves to be the main PBP guy for Amazon (NBA and WNBA).

If true, that's a big loss for this market. Grady is tremendous at his job.

Sounds like he may miss a few more Wolves games than he did this year, but it doesn't sound like he'll be a main guy for the NBA.

And fortunately the WNBA plays during the NBA offseason.

Grady has been the Wolves' lead play-by-play announcer for the past three seasons since being hired to replace Dave Benz in 2022. This news presumably won't have a significant impact on his job with FanDuel Sports Network North, although his volume of national NBA assignments could potentially increase. This past season, Grady was part of ESPN's lineup of broadcasters and occasionally missed Wolves games to call a national broadcast. Marney Gellner was the typical replacement for FDSNN. Timberwolves radio announcer Alan Horton also called one game on TV.

Please have a better backup plan than Marney Gellner she tries but she is awful.
How is the radio guy?
Give Katie bear a shot too.
Would be cool if they could run some legends through as guest announcers kind of like the Twins do.
Let Wally and Sam Mitchell and Fred call a couple games.
They could have KG announce but they would have to bleep half of it due to how he cusses so much.

They gave Alan Horton a shot during the season, which makes me think the organization would consider it....It's worked well for the Twins so far.

Draft Lottery is on Monday.

We need to have Cooper Flagg head to the East, and for the Sixers to not get passed twice (currently slotted fifth and their pick is top 6 protected this year) so they keep their pick and it doesn't go to OKC. Sixers currently have a 64% chance of keeping their pick.
