No, he has last year of contract. I'd trade for 2nd round pick or late 20s (if we get more pick in Love trade). We need prospects on rookie contract, but Iman can be very valuable player for us. Since salary of 1st round rookies counts against salary cap, we should be careful about accumulating to many 1st round pick, also rookies need time to develop. So based on this Iman could makes sense as solid defender with some experience if we trade Martin and draft Stauskas. Shumpert - Stauskas combo gives us some flexibility in terms of outside shooting, defense, athleticism, pick roll offense and ball handling.

Hell no. Shumpert has not shown anything to warrant trading a lottery pick for him.

Saric has signed a 3 year deal with an opt out clause after the 2nd year. Chad Ford mocks him at 17. I'm gonna be pissed if we don't take him at 13.

He's definitely in play at #13 if we trade Love. If Love goes to Boston, it depends a bit with what we do at #6 though. If we get Gordon and Olynyk from the Boston deal, we basically have our PF future covered. If Exum falls or we go for Smart, Saric should be an easy decision. I think like Mirotic, Saric will only improve his stock with great play in Europe in the coming years.

Saying that, if we do the Boston deal, we might be able to pick Saric at #17! The thought of us drafting Gordon, Stauskas and Saric... I say the Boston deal got a lot better.

Don't forget his other perks. He gets to display his disturbing plumber's crack to half the stadium at games.

OJ Mayo is one of the best defenders in the league, hes a two way player and hes a great passer and playmaker.

I heard a good analysis that was similar to if a guy can score 12ppg for the Knicks he becomes viewed as a 20ppg with fans and media.

More like
6. Embiid
13. Harris (don't think Stauskas will be available)
17. Saric

http://nbadraft.net/top-5-overrated-prospects

NBADraft.net's top 5 overrated prospect list:

Aaron Gordon
Dante Exum
Nik Stauskas
Tyler Ennis
Adreian Payne

Those are all guys I think will be great picks in their range. We'll see what happens, but I don't have that much faith in that site anymore. I have always preferred DraftExpress.

I don't think people are talking about this guy enough

Yeah, he's 23. So what?! He's got the type of skillset necessary to play PF with the guys on our roster. People talk all the time about how Ibaka would be a perfect fit...that's exactly who Ibaka reminds me of.

I'm not necessarily saying I'd take him at 13, either. I recognize it'd probably be somewhat of a stretch. But if we make one of the BOS or CHI trades for picks in the late teens, I'd definitely have him on my shortlist.

Like Dieng last year, people are sleeping on him because he's "too old." He's going to be a very productive pro.

I don't think people are sleeping on him because he's "too old." I think people are sleeping on him because he's got a medical condition that effects his stamina and horrible basketball IQ for a Senior that will likely limit him to being a low minute backup at best. The upside is just not there.

Mono isn't a permanent condition

I thought his problem was small lungs relative to his size.
