Nobody has achieved a full 720 dunk.
Can Wiggins do this? This will be one of the all time memorable dunks.
He has to take part to a dunk contest. Michael Jordan did. He has to do that too.

It sucks this video came out. Would have been cool if he just busted it out in the dunk contest.

Also i think one of the and 1 douches did a 720 dunk once.

720 dunk has been done by a couple of professional dunkers.
However, wiggins attempted a reverse 720 dunk and thats never been done before. I think people on the gb like take the piss out of him like hes kwame brown.
I wouldnt be suprised to see some and 1 guys now trying to throw down reverse 720's.

I think that some guys have made a 540 dunk but nobody a 720.
Wiggins has tried a 720 dunk.
If there is a video with a 720 dunk please post it to let us know.

If you watch his feet he only went 540, however Wiggins maybe didn't go a full 720 either.

Nobody ever does the full rotation before they dunk it. "360s" are often closer to 180.

This is a 540.
Wiggins is close to a 720, he made 2 full spins in the air.
Anyway, this is not so important. Wiggins is a great athlete and a great basketball player.
He has worked a lot this summer and I expect him better this year.
It is time to play in his first all star game this year.

Andrew's missed attempt was the exact same rotation as that video. Their feet start pointed at the wing about elbow extended and when the ball hits the rim they're pointed at the bottom corner of the lane opposite their starting point. 540 degrees before the ball touches the rim. The only difference is that Wiggins used the "wrong" hand for the way he was spinning, which is a bit more difficult.

Yes, I watched the videos again and you are right. The rotation is the same, my mistake!

That's a good point.
And that other guy actually completed the dunk, though I'm sure Wiggins could finish it too if he spent time on it. That guys job is to do crazy dunks. Wiggins job is to become a better basketball player.

Who cares?

He won't ever do it in a game so it does not matter.

I would rather see him lock down Durant on the wing defensively to be honest. That would be more impressive.
"That's why the last two years weren't guaranteed," Walsh said. "Either way, he knew it could have happened either way."

It would be also impressive if Durant would lock Wiggins defensively.
My opinion is that Wiggins and Lavine will make a big step forward this year.
Wiggins already had 21 ppg at the age of 20.
Will he become a 24-25 ppg scorer this year?
If yes a new big star is born.
I have seen a lot videos of his workouts this summer and he has worked a lot his handling and shooting.
If he improves also dribbling skills like crossovers etc he will be unstopable.

Omari Sankofa: Take me through your off-season. Obviously, it’s been busy for the Timberwolves, bringing in a new head coach, new front office.

Andrew Wiggins: I went to different places to work out. I was in Long Beach, I was in L.A. and I was in Las Vegas for Summer League. I was working out, and mainly this summer I’ve been working on my handles and my shot and just working on different things outside the three-point line. Other than that it’s been going good. I went to Las Vegas to watch the team play at Summer League, watched Kris Dunn, Adreian Payne. They shocked a lot of people. With the new coaching change, I’m excited for it. I think we’re both ready for the season to get started.

OS: KAT had an incredible rookie season. How are you two adapting to form that 1–2 punch?

AW: We fit perfectly together. We know each other’s games and every game last year the potential was building into the future. I’m working on a few things that’ll help with each other shooting from a double team, moves to get away from the next defender. Reading the defense and reading how we both play off of it.

Is Wiggins still projected as a 2 guard?

Would make sense to trade 1-2 of your guards now.

I'd say Wiggins is clearly a 3. Sure he is kind of skinny but so were a lot of the top SFs coming into the league; PG13, KD, Gay, Batum, Parsons, Hayward, Giannas, Ariza. He has the ability to gaurd 2s because of his athleticism but long term he far more suited to play the 3.

Whenever LaVine moved into the starting 2 gaurd spot Wiggins benefited a lot by have another playmaker on the court to play off of and his overall efficiency rate and TS% prove this. So basically if this is your attempt at saying we should either trade Zach or Andrew the answer is a very big NO.

Jesus. We all know Wiggins is a super athlete and also seems to be a pretty good guy. Let's just hope he turns the corner to be an A+++ NBA Baller. I hope to root for him as a Wolf for many years to come...
