I don't think he makes it to us at 40. If he's not taken late 1st (which I could see), I think his draft floor is 36 to join his brother in Milwaukee.

Have to think those options are mutually exclusive though, no?

But honestly, my head is spinning at this point from all the different static coming from everywhere. i have no idea what Flip is going to do at this point.

That would be awesome for Bucks fans.

Lavine is swinging fo the fences. I'd like trading down and getting Kyle Anderson, but if not...Harris or Lavine, please. Lavine's got loads of potential, rather go for the high potential-bust than the "safe" ones like Payne.

I'm very excited to hear we're interested in Lavine. Outside of him being my 1a target it means Flip might actually be looking to the future and not instant gratification. This could be reflected in what kind of packages he's looking for in a Love trade.

Don't want LaVine. Not much upside when he lacks some pretty important skills. I think he'd stay another year in college if he thought he could be something truly good.

I think he felt he was forced out as he didn't get along with Coach Alford, who would play his son over him and keep him from playing a role he was happy with.

Why go to school when you can go to the NBA being paid millions?

Especially for a prospect being picked on potential.

I'm pretty sure everyone feel that way. When you are trading the 2nd best player in franchise history and a top 10 player in the league, it goes without saying it is a massive and pivotal moment for the franchise and it's fans. Who the hell knows what's going to happen in the next several days?

How many guys in the draft can you see being the best player, or the second best player on a championship team?

Even assuming everything goes right, I can only see six guys fitting that description - Embiid, Wiggins, Parker, Randle, Smart, Exum

Gordon -- even projected at his best (AK, Marion) he seems like a complimentary piece - the 3rd or 4th best player on a championship team.
Vonleh -- Same thing. Don't think he's gifted enough in any one area to be the next Bosh or Abridge or even Elton Brand. Think at best he's a solid starter.
McDermott - think he's mostly a spot up, catch and shoot player on a good team. We'll have to be hidden defensively. Probably a role player on a championship team. 4th or 5th best player.

His shot selection is so awful that I ended up laughing so hard watching that draftexpress video. I don't know if he can change that.

I dont think it's fair to even look at it like that at this point. You just really never know. I say wait 10 years and then criticize a draft class.

Lavine's game reminds me of half the guys i play pick up ball with, only they're 5'8" - 6'1" and can't dunk or like he can.

I think that's the way scouts look at these guys. They don't say, we never know, we should just wait 10 years.

Shot selection is bad, but that's one skill, not skills (plural).

Sure, that makes sense. At least me, I dont like to criticize a whole class, just a few individuals.
