They've been KAT and Russell at 50 cents on the dollar.

This KAT trade talk really is ridiculous when you think about it. Even if Towns wanted out the team doesn't have to trade him.

I’d be absolutely stunned if we moved KAT. It’s just fun to speculate and formulate potential scenarios and returns.

Wiseman (#2) | Reid | Looney
Avdija or Okongwu (#4) | Spellman | Vanderbilt | Johnson (trade or buyout)
Culver | Wiggins | Layman
Edwards (#1) | Beasley | Okogie | Nowell
White | McJordan

At trade deadline, trade Beasley for best future draft consideration possible.

We did all of that work to get rid of Wiggins and now you want him back less than a year later?

Want is the wrong word. Get paid incentive to take him back — yes. If Wolves go rebuild, bring on the bad contract(s) for assets. Wiggins is one of the worse of the bunch.

One of the trades that makes most sense is to Philly for Embiid. Towns (or Towns and Russell) in the East within Mike. D’s system would be sick.

Sorry Slim. I'd rather have KAT, Russell and Culver by far to Simmons, Brown and Kanter. Then you are throwing in our #17 and a future unprotected first?????? YIKES.

I’d prefer Ben Simmons, Jaylen Brown and James Wiseman (#1) over KAT, Dlo and Culver in a big way but that’s just me personally.

You're not comparing apples to apples. The #1 pick is an asset we can do whatever we want with. Your deal was us giving KAT, D Lo, Culver #17 and an unprotected first for Simmons, Brown and Kanter. We were not getting Wiseman in the deal you proposed.

I struggled adding #17 and the 2023 FRP basically trying to enhance the Philly return since they were shipping out both Embiid and Simmons. I personally value KAT and Brown over Embiid primarily due to past injuries and what they mean moving forward for a big man in this league.

If BOS values Embiid more than Brown, maybe they throw in a couple of their later 2020 FRP’s to balance it out and remove the MIN picks?

Still can't add Wiseman to the Wolves as part of the deal. We already have the pick to draft Wiseman or whoever we darn well please.

I saw these. But the source is a Celtics beat reporter. Feels like he's speculating about them rather than actual news. It's why I hate aggregators.

Please God no to ball@#1..rather take Edwards if we keep the pick. Bulls and Hawks a couple teams I'd trade down with. From bulls I want both lavine and markenan plus their#4.. And from Hawks I'll take hunter, capella and #6.

If you require that much for #1 you won't be able to make a deal. I'd settle for Nance and #5 from the Cavs.

Since 76ers are interested in buddy hield maybe we can work out a 3 way with them? Maybe horford+our#17+Culver to Sac, JJ+our#1 to Philly, Simmons+Bogdanovic to us.

Dlo
Beasley
Bogdanovic
Simmons
Towns

In everyone’s opinion, who would be the best player or pick we could get for #17, Johnson’s $16M Expiring and Culver? (Let’s leave Gordon out of this since it’s already being discussed in its own thread.)

I don't get why we are including Culver. I'd trade 17 and JJ for Nance.

I'm a big Nance proponent, but nope

Thinking about doing a run. Trade for Paul and Gordon.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
