In the video (:50ish) he even calls himself a “small ball five.”

Okongwu also called Lamelo Ball a “once in a lifetime player” in a previous article.

That is supposed to mean something?

That he understands where the league is going and he knows he’s not a wing.

Small ball is stupid. It's just a buzzword. Big and skillful beats small and skillful almost all the time.

can I call him slow and lazy just off this clip?

If you've watched him play even one time you would never call him slow or lazy.

So we’ve hashed 1-10...

Ball
Wiseman
Edwards
Hayes
Okungwu
Avdija
Okoro
Toppin
Haliburton
Vassell

Bucket #2... we may need to spend more time here since we have #17 and will likely trade #1.

Williams F ... My pick assuming we trade #1.
Terry PG
Nesmith SG/SF
Bey SF
Maledon PG
Achuiwa PF
Maxey SG
McDaniels PF
Green SG
Anthony PG

To me those are the most likely top ten picks. I really don't get why the big board died before 17.

I can honestly say that I am open to a variety of directions at 17, depending on what they do with the 1.

When using Bey in your lists it might be better to use S. Bey and T. Bey since there are two. Saddiq Bey could brake into that top ten range if one of these teams like him. Nesmith and others even. Tankathon likes to rate Tyler Bey as better than Saddiq Bey, but Saddiq is the two way overachiever with a solid 3pt shot that seems to fit better today with say Wolves offense and the league right now.

Not gonna lie ... I’m a little bias towards Saddiq in the 10-15. I did not include Tyler.

If Wiseman/Edwards is first pick I would want Terry at 17.
If first pick is Ball then it’s gotta be Maxey at 17.

There could end up being a number of righteous choices available at 17 that are on equal footing with those two. I don't think it's "gotta be" anyone specific. Those two have positives like many others have. I just hope the team doesn't plan on drafting 3 picks in the top 33.

Good for that guy, showing up for combine measurements. no fear

But 6-3 in shoes means 6-2 or less height player. Anyone know his wingspan?

This one place even lists Terry at 8th in the draft now. https://nbadraft.theringer.com/ while also suggesting his height brings limitations.

They have Haliburton at 10 where he's been for a while with others. I still see him as a super positive on most of the things people are projecting for Ball, but haliburton has been making his shots along the way.

He isn’t making it out of the Lottery.

If top ten is Ball, Wiseman, Edwards, Avdija, Haliburton, Hayes, Okongwu, Toppin, Vassell and Okoro.

The final four spots in lottery will be between Terry, Maxey, Williams, S Bey, Achiuwa , Nesmith, Smith, Hampton, McDaniels, Pokusevski, Lewis Jr, Green and Anthony.

7 of those players will be available at 17 for Rosas. I can see Terry being one of them because the Pelicans, Kings and Celtics don’t really need a pointguard and can see the Suns and Blazers taking a rookie that can help right away like Nesmith or Bey. I can see Cole Anthony going higher than most expect maybe even as high as 8.

We need badass guards.

I’m praying one of Maxey or Terry maybe Bey are there.

Those are the two guards I like with the Brooklyn pick. If neither are there, Josh Green interests me.

Him too! He might be the best of the group. You never know. His release is so quick. Very athletic.
