Just stop. This has nothing to do with Taylor being unwilling to pay the tax, and everything to do with the rules of the CBA.
If this was about money, Taylor could just tell Butler if everything goes fine he'll be taken care of next off season. Taylor had no problem going through the media for Wiggins, why not do the same thing with Butler? If it's truly about money and Taylor is willing to pay next year, just say you're not being traded and offer him more then anyone else can offer.
Worst case scenario, Butler has a career altering injury and opts in to next year to make 20 million more but it would would hurt Minnesota.
Butler has said he does not want to wait until next season, and I don’t blame him.
He would have to bear that risk of a career-threatening injury this year, that could cost him his $190 mil

Sure but being traded to Miami doesn't change anything towards him renegotiating this summer. I do believe he's been led to believe he's not getting paid what he thought he would by Minnesota next year.

Back in the duo’s Minnesota days, Garnett often got so frustrated with Szczerbiak’s lack of defensive effort that Garnett would yell at his teammate on the floor, and it got so bad that Garnett reportedly punched Szczerbiak back in 2000. There were rumors in 2007 when Garnett did not want to be traded to Boston that a potential reunion with Szczerbiak was one of the main reasons. Szczerbiak was traded the night of the draft, the same night the Celtics acquired Ray Allen, thereby opening the door for the Garnett era in Boston.

also punched rick rickert in the face. Also made Big Baby cry all the time in Boston
This was, after all, the superstar who had once dropped to all fours and barked at Portland rookie point guard Jerryd Bayless; whose pregame ritual was a violent head-banging assault of, and concurrent conversation with, the basketball stanchion; who would years later express his umbrage at Dwight Howard's post play by drilling him with an impromptu head-butt in the first quarter of a 2015 regular-season game against Houston.
Garnett, forbidden to take the floor by his own coach, had concocted his revenge: He would track the movements of power forward Leon Powe, the player who had replaced him in the lineup. As Powe pivoted, so did Garnett. As Powe leaped to grab a defensive rebound, Garnett launched himself to corral an imaginary ball. As Powe snapped an outlet pass, Garnett mimicked the motion, then sprinted up his slim sliver of sideline real estate as Powe filled the lane on the break. The players were mirror images: one on the court with a full complement of teammates, the other out of bounds, alone. Two men engaged in a bizarre basketball tango.
"KG," Rivers barked, "if you keep doing this, I'm canceling practice for the whole team. That will hurt us."
Garnett's reverence for coaches was legendary, but still he turned his back on Rivers. He returned to his defensive stance, an isotope of intensity, crouched, palms outstretched, in complete concert with Powe. He was, in fact, becoming so adept at this warped dalliance he'd invented, he actually began to anticipate Powe's movements, denying the entry pass to his invisible opponent before Powe thought of it.
Then-GM Kevin McHale: “I’ve seen 100 NBA fights. I’ve been involved in ‘em. It’s not a big deal.”
Coach Flip Saunders: “That’s one of the reasons coaches are very leery of opening practices [to the media]. There are a lot of skirmishes. … You don’t want it. Heaven forbid, if you have a player, especially a star player, who breaks his hand.”
“I was a rookie proving myself and going in there and giving it my all. He was the reigning MVP at the time and I was going in there and not holding back and I was playing well and for whatever reason he didn’t like that. Maybe I hit a jumper on him but he sucker punched me. All I can think of is I was playing better than he expected and he didn’t like that I was playing so well against him. Growing up he was a guy I looked at and thought was a good player, so going into playing against him I wouldn’t back down from a challenge. I guess he didn’t like that.”

You're dealing with players competing for spots and overall in the grand scheme of things paychecks, it's going to get heated.
