Wish we had someone like Baynes...he is such a solid player to have and a very impactful defender

It still won't tarnish what Suns made happen. The Wizards faced the Wolves without Kat and could have taken advantage too. They didn't. Wizards played the Spurs and Heat neck and neck, scoring 158 against heat. Where was that offense against Wolves? It doesn't look like the Suns are going to cower to anyone now. The have more defensive energy, more game IQ, and more consistent leadership added to a lot of shooting talent. We are in for a battle in games against them that will demand shooting.
The difference between the two situations is that it forced one team to play differently, while the other team kept things mostly the same. Not just about the talent lost but about a change in how the lineups were constructed. Horford went from being probably the biggest PFs in the league to being one of the smaller Cs. Harris went from being able to overmatch a lot of SFs to being a smaller PF.
Minnesota kept things largely the same, even down to plugging in someone from out of the rotation into the starting lineup to not disrupt the bench chemistry. The system didn't change. The advantages on the floor really didn't change either. The team knew what to expect.

One of my draft favorites Goga Bitadze looks promising.

Of course the Grizzlies look like trash again today. Also seems like Kings may be finding heir groove.

So, TPA is the new stat that proves Wiggins is the worst player of all

No, it shows him being positive on offense, which is something different then years past, the defense is still bad. The sizing of tthe grid is off (they sometimes put a line where the net zero would be) to make sure everyone is in the picture but overall this shows Wiggins as not a negative, which is a huge upgrade from before. Also, Wiggins' current ORTG - DRTG is currently 0, his previous best year was -7. Basically he's making some strides, I hope he can keep it up or make strides on his defense.
BTW, I showed data he was bad because he was bad, so far he's much better than he has been in his career.

Back when we were all discussing the draft one of the big knocks on Brandon Clarke was he couldn't make Free Throws. Still a small sample size, but the improvement has been amazing. He's shooting .917 on FTs.

I don’t remember er much talk about his ft shooting. I remember concerns about his 3pt shooting tho. Might want to wait for a larger sample size than 12 attempts. If he misses his next 3 he is under 75%.

The three point shooting was the bigger part of that. It was like if a player can't shoot threes well no matter what his other qualities are he will be a worthless POS in the NBA.
I already said small sample size. I just thought it was cool how well he was doing so far. I wish him well and am hopeful of a Culver emergence sometime soon.

KAT should learn all these little things that veterans know. Jokic is not a veteran, but he is from Yugoslavian school. They know how to play.

honestly when I read this straw man it just made me think you need a hug.
Mattya I don't remember if you made that argument, but there were many who did. No straw man at all. There were hundreds of posts on the subject. Over and over the posts read since he is not good at the three he is going to suck. Didn't matter that he was one of the best rated players coming out of college ever and was an incredible defender.

Well I sure don't remember anyone claiming Clarke was going to be a POS because he couldn't shoot free throws.

No they were like I said arguing that he was going to be a POS because he couldn't make 3s. However, some would rip on his FT shooting also. I just argued his strong points easily outweighed his weaknesses. Now it so happens that he is shooting 40% from 3 and over 90% from the line. Small sample size. Copy and paste from RotoWorld tonight.
Brandon Clarke
PF, Memphis Grizzlies
Brandon Clarke shot 6-of-7 from the field in Monday's 113-109 win over San Antonio, tallying 14 points, eight rebounds, one assist and two 3-pointers in 18 minutes.
Clarke, who did not play in Saturday's game against Dallas for injury maintenance (back) reasons, had one of his better outings of the season Monday night. The rookie out of Gonzaga has now scored in double figures in six of his last seven appearances, and he made both of his three-point attempts Monday night. Not known for his perimeter shooting ability in college, Clarke is shooting 40% from three this month (five games) with an average of 0.5 makes per. If he can get that number up to 1.0 without sacrificing much with regards to his accuracy, Clarke's value in most leagues will increase. Even without the three-point shooting he's worth rostering in deeper leagues because of his abilities as a rebounder and defender.

Are the Suns better than us? They got a better record? Beat some teams can

Yup.
Adding rubio allowed everyone else to be in a better position to be successful.
They added nba quality depth.
We could use both of those.

For the people who believe we screwed up drafting Culver Coby White just made 7 3s in the 4th quarter last night.
Kyrie Irving hero ball with the Nets cost them a loss as he took virtually every shot down the stretch with miss after miss.

Really mad at the Nets. They keep dropping games to western teams we need them to beat.

The Net's have a good amount of talent, but they will keep losing as long as Irving keeps playing hero ball. They should be moving the ball and letting whoever is open take the shot.
