100% Ryan Saunders blows this game

Finch era is for real

2-1 in the last 3!!!!

Our guys play harder for Finch. Maybe because they fear he will bench them if they dick around, whereas Ryan would probably give them a hug and tell them “you will get him next time champ.”

Best we stop with the Saunders references man, he didnt act like an ass or tried to hurt anyone. Good luck to him and good luck to the new guy. I mean i was certainly among the loudest asking for change but its over, and you dont know who reads along here. I woulnt want to kick a guy on the ground

I can see some improvements already but then again it's too early to say anything..this team even previously showed some flashes in short periods but failed to execute it consistently over longer periods. So, I am not gonna quickly jump to any conclusions. Finch also still seems to be testing out different rotations, still trying to figure out his best lineup.

This team needed a grown up to hold them accountable. Ryan was too much of a friend than a coach.

Anthony Edwards said Coach Finch cussed them out in practice yesterday and said that he will handle the execution of the offense and the players are responsible for their effort.

Everyone is going to be held accountable now.

Ryan is a good guy but he’s not ready to be a head coach in the NBA where it’s a league of big time egos because players get paid way more than coaches.

I wouldn’t mind Ryan Saunders get the Gophers job though once Pitino is fired. Ryan being an alum can maybe help keep the Minnesota talent in state and gain some much needed coaching experience. Maybe one day after 10 years, a Big 10 title, some tourney wins, Ryan can be the Wolves coach again.

Finch said something that sacres me. He was asked if he believes in the hot hand and he said “I believe players get into grooves and it’s comfortable to get the ball into their hands, but we know analytically, that the last shot has no determination on the next shot.” Tell that to Nowell and MCD against the Pels.

Wow, KAT just flat out said Edwards was the right pick for this team, he was really clear about it. That's some serious faith and a huge endorsement from the star player. Though I guess you could say "Of course he says that cause DLO is his buddy." So fair point.

ESPN Draft Express Jonathan Givony said on the Zach Lowe Podcast that DLo did not want to play with Lamelo Ball which is why Gersson Rosas took Anthony Edwards

Ok kat is staying and wolves are getting Cunningham and Giving the warriors a meh 2022 pick in the mid twenties , lets go!

I always believed it was the best thing in the long run, to get another top 3 pick.

Coach Saunders was not even THAT bad with Minnesota, you literally could not have built a more horrible context for a coach to try to function with than what occurred throughout Ryan's tenure. Minnesota moving on was for the best from my perspective (I am a big fan of Coach Finch and think his style fits better for the roster direction), but the Ryan bashing has always felt incredibly bizarre to me, the dude was a professional throughout his tenure as a coach in Minnesota.

On a scale of Doogie to Krawczynski to Shams to Woj, where would you rank Givony in terms of a source?

Wolves have currently lot of promising young talent (we have seen this before)...Ant, Nowell, McDaniels all are look interesting...I am still not fully convinced about Ant's jumper but can't deny that his potential..considering his age, gotta be more patient with him. I would like to see Ant not settling for jumpers unless there is no other option like shotclock expiration etc..he needs to work more on driving to the rim and finishing at the rim. McDaniels for me has been the biggest surprise. Super excited to see how he develops.

I can see the team trading Culver though..he just hasn't progressed much at all.

Solid because they are the best in the biz which is why ESPN bought them and acquired them when they were freelance and for him to say it openly on the Lowe podcast which is top 5 basketball podcast gives it credibility.

It used to be if you shot 33% from 3 it was same as 50% from 2, which is pretty good.

Ant is a raw work in progress and is progressing beautifully.

Ant has work to do. I felt after his hot streak, we stopped any movement late in the fourth, and it became too much the Ant show. The Blazers crept back in at that point.

But Ant is 19 years old. Give him time. His skill set is so far more advanced than Wiggins’ ever was.

JimPete is the 2nd best thing about this franchise after KG but holy **** he has fallen off a cliff this year. I don't know if it's not being courtside or if it's an "old people under-socialized due to pandemic" thing but he's not the same guy.

What's that tell you about the players missing? Hmm..
