With the current state of the West, you might be right.

I stand by my prediction.

I am with KGdaBom on this one. Wemby is at least 2 years ahead of Giannis. His worst case stat wise would be Giannis' third year. Giannis still doesn't have a consistent outside shot and FT. That was why he fell so far down the draft where Wolves could had actually pick him (I had to Shabazz that in :D).

The west is so loaded and balanced that the only teams out of consideration are POR and HOU. Injuries and suspension will have significant impact to standings, even more so than last year. If Wolves are not careful, we could end up in 12th place (like we are now).

As you should....I think I'd respect you less if you didn't. (even though you're wrong ;) )

True that Giannis might not have been the best comparison. But worth noting that the Bucks won just 33 games in his third year...

I don’t know who was more horrendous today SGA or Lillard.

I remain thoroughly convinced that the Wolves have the best shot at taking down Denver.

Gobert :D I see the 1/2 time scores and didn't bother to watch either games. Just catch Holmgren's face got rearranged by Jokic. Should had never put him on the Joker.

LAL vs SAC is an exciting game. Both Prince and DLo contributed. Although missed a couple critical 3s. I was expecting Milton to be like Monk. I am not sure who to root for but I don't think the Kings will be as good as last year because teams are going to pay attention to them.

Tbh the top three from this past draft look from mid to flat out horrendous (Scoot).

LOL at Austin Reaves, no more “I am him” yells.

Random observation: we are the last West team remaining that has yet to face another West opponent. That comes Wednesday hosting Denver. Denver has played all of its games against the West and is 3-0.

Denver is looking real good again. We do have the best shot, but it sure won't be easy. Let's at least get a top 4 seed so we don't have to play them until the 2nd round or west finals.

Simmons is back to his good behavior? Score a basket, got a rebound and a assist within the 1st minute of tonight's game. Make a pair of FT is still too much to ask for.

I'm very happy if Simmons comes all the way back. It was a shame what happened with him.

Raptors are 1-3 and lose to POR tonight. So, looks like we suck badly so far.

I think its safe to say we are a bad team early in this season. Absolutely sucks but yea, 1-2 with two horrible losses. We basically got punked in both games in different ways and that's the kind of thing bad teams do. I hope we can prove otherwise but the way those losses happened, I don't have a ton of faith. We still don't have an identity it seems and that is a killer.

Harden going to the Clippers. Things get more crazy.

The Clippers finally upped the offer. They were idiots trying to hold out and get him for nothing. They would have had Harden a month ago if they had made this offer a month ago. The 76ers and Darryl Morey were rewarded for standing firm and not trading Harden for pure garbage.

The LA Clippers acquired 10-time All-Star guard James Harden in a blockbuster trade with the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night, sources told ESPN.

The 76ers sent Harden, P.J. Tucker and Filip Petrusev to the Clippers for Marcus Morris, Robert Covington, Nic Batum, KJ Martin, a 2028 unprotected first-round pick, two second-round picks, a 2029 pick swap and an additional first-round pick that'll be routed from a third team, sources told ESPN.

They didn't really up their offer at all. The sitting offer was expirings, one first, and one swap for James Harden. This offer only adds two seconds and Kenyon Martin Jr. to the pile.

What closed the deal is that a third team is willing to route Philadelphia a first for the Clippers' expirings.

So the offer accepted includes at least 1 more first round pick than the offer before. You think that it was all the same as it was before?
