Doesn’t sound we’ll get then “I’m not playing there” drama that other prospects sometimes leak

It's cool that he wants to go #1 and come here. Warriors would be a lot more glamorous. Charlotte not glamorous, but better weather. Chicago quite glamorous.

Can you share the link? I went to his instagram, but I either don't know how to find the picture and story you spoke of or it just isn't there.

Richmond was one of the best shooters in the league.

If he became Mitch Richmond, he’d be the second best Timberwolf of all time.

I don't see the comparison to Mitch Richmond at all. He looks like Isaiah Rider to me (minus the heavy drug habit).

I could see this comp.

Sigh. I remember as a kid thinking Rider and Laettner were going to lead us to a championship.

Richmond was one of the best shooters in the league.

his floor is out of the league in like 5 years

100%tile means absolute ceiling, 85%tile is still a really high outcome

His median outcome is probably a very negative and bad player as well

What it means is, that depending on how confident you are on him reaching his ceiling or in your ability to helping do so, you should stay away or pick him

I'd never draft him nº1

Ya like Mattya said, click on his profile picture and his story will begin. Whenever there’s an Orange ring around his pic means whoever added to their story since you last watched it. Once you watch it the ring disappears until the next time something is added

he is very reminiscent to Rider, but Rider was even superior physically. Rider was a former dunk contest champion. I bet that award is in Edwards future.

However, you have Mr Broken shot Ball at #1 in a tier by himself. If he ever wants to shoot well he will need to completely overhaul that shot. I wouldn't draft either #1.

There's a picture of him in a circle top left? If that's what I'm supposed to tap I did that and nothing happened.

LaMelo's shot is far from broken and he has tinkered and changed his mechanics during the season already

shooting is far from the issue with Ant

To me it is a very large issue for both of them. Their shots don't go in the basket and that is kind of what we went to happen right?
Ball's shot is UGLY. I mean for a guy raised to be a basketball star I have no idea how it could be that UGLY.
Edwards shot looks pretty. It just doesn't go in the basket very often.

Alright guys, tell me why Wiseman isn't the right pick for us. No KAT can't play the 4 stuff (Rosas came right out and said he could), no the league plays small now (see Nuggets, Blazers, Lakers, Phili, etc). How does Wiseman not, even at his floor of rim running defensive big, not significantly improve us more than Ball or Edwards?

Georgia would have been significantly worse had Edwards not had the “any shot is a good shot” mentality.

I agree the form is ugly. It’s a result of teaching the Ball kids to shoot from 30 feet before they had the strength to make that shot with correct form.

He is a willing shooter however with nice touch. I look at what Lonzo did with his shot after having form similar to LaMelo. Gives me a lot of confidence that LaMelo will be able to become a league average shooter, which is more than enough given the rest of his game.

I can't tell you why as I believe Wiseman is the right pick.

So.... He was sacrificing his efficiency for the good of the team?
Maybe that's what Wiggins was doing all those years. :o

The obvious comp for Edwards is Wiggins. Not sure why Minny would want to relive that nightmare. Jesus, he commented during the lotto that he learned at Georgia not to care much about his bad games!

I thought he said he learned how to bounce back from bad games.

Well, I just rewatched it, and he said he had a lot of bad games and he learned to just take it and move on. Still not very eciting to me. #1 I'd prefer someone who didn't have a lot of bad games, and #2 I'd prefer if it DID piss them off.

Return to Minnesota Timberwolves
