Looks bad, but I see more than DLo screwing up. Doesn't look like anybody wants to execute a switch.

That is D-Super-Low. I see a guy super loss and not trying. If you don't know which person to guard, pick one and be aggressive.

He shouldn't have tried shooting that 3 with a taller guy on him. I don't see anything else that is egregious. The play where the guy has a clear path to the basket is a team defense issue. It isn't all on Dlo on that one.

I was curious if Thibs would insist KAT plays underneath the rim. Knicks fans tell me that he is a much more flexible coach than he was here, but I don’t know. Thibs has seen KAT be bad in drop coverage himself, saw KAT be “ok” or at least aggressive, when Finch put him in a system where he’s not in drop. I don’t know…
To be fair to Thibs, Towns is leading the NBA this season in Total Rebound Percentage.

It is reminder for me, because I wanted FOR YEARS to pair Towns with a defensive minded PF like Anunoby and make Towns a five-out C who plays with two defensive minded oversized wings. NYK have a perfect combination of Anunoby-Bridges on the wings, but it is quite challenging to build an elite defense, although Towns has been elite in offense and at rebounding. I still wonder if the ideal PF next to Towns is really a DPOY caliber player like Jon Isaac. Towns has showed that he can be a capable defender in MIN, playing with two elite defenders Gobert and McDaniels, but in MIN he also had A LOT of size with Gobert/McDaniels/Reid/Anderson. I expect NYK to improve defense once Robinson is back.

I don't know if that is all on Towns. I watched a few Knicks games and Towns seems better than last year. He is getting back to play center and Knicks don't have any one outside of Towns that is taller than 6-8. OG is 6-7. I think some like Gordon, Vanderbilt, or Horford (younger) would be better with Towns. He will adjust. When Robinson comes back, NYK will be much better defensively.

Yeah. Thats exactly what I was trying to say when I wrote they need Robinson back. NYK dont even have a quality backup C/PF right now.

Re: Updates on former Wolves
After years of defending KAT for what he was, from people who hated him for what he wasn’t, I thought I would feel more satisfied when several of his haters realized his contributions around here. Instead, their appreciation just feels shallow and too late, a gateway to put their continual complaints elsewhere.
I hope that when Towns returns on December 19th, the fans show him the support he always deserved.

Re: Updates on former Wolves
Our guy Tyus Jones is having a great season.
Of course his AST-TO ratio is great 6.9 to 1.0.
He’s also has career highs in scoring (12.8 PPG), FG% (49.4%) and 3P% (44.1%) on 5.4 on 3PA.
Remember when we said he couldn’t shoot? He’d fit here so nice!

5 of the past 6 years (and the last 4 straight), he's been over 37% from 3. Often way over.
Shame his brother has never improved his shooting.

Re: Updates on former Wolves
Should have keep him and play him at the 5. Trade Rudy instead of resign him and we will be a contender. I have to admit i was not fan of KAT specially because i almost see him play only as SF.... i was wrong. This trade is a failure and don't think it will change. It make us 3 step back from what we were last year.
