He was horrible at defense and shot 40% from the field and 29% from 3

He was explosive though. What happens to Beasley, Okogie and Culver who all play the same position as Edwards?

Young players improve and those players can get traded for picks or for players that fit the wolves needs.

In his latest podcast, Doogie spoke with Windhorst, who said "Wiseman does not want to come to Minnesota because Karl Towns is there... From what I understand Wiseman doesn't even want to do anything with the Wolves." Doogie replied he's heard that. Windhorst wasn't sure what that even means. Back in the day a prospect may not fly in for a workout. No Zoom call?

Stephen Curry didn't want to come to Minnesota pre-draft. So this means that we have to draft the talent!

I'll just go on record now that I'm for Okoro. Give me a dogged defender with high BBIQ that can guard 1-4. If we can pick up future picks or vets on the way to a spot where its "acceptable" to draft him even better.

No thanks can’t shoot threes or freethrows or create he is an undersized Pf basically. He is the one player in the top ten I want no part of.

From last night's NBA Pro Day, Edwards in an interview said, "I just met with them. Ugh. I had a workout for them yesterday, and I met with them the night before that. I think it went really well. I think they like me a lot."

That's Ball and Edwards down. Doogie is saying the Wolves are trying to see Wiseman and Toppin.

totally agree with you on this. Curry didn't work out for the Warriors either but they took him anyway. If the Wolves think he is no. 1 on their board they should take him and figure out the rest later...

Maxey looked really good. Not physically imposing but quick release and it goes in.

I'm now convinced Edwards is the pick for us. He worked out in GS and was a beast. To have two strong scoring guards that can each take over a game is a beautiful thing. He has a pro body and should contribute right away. I agree on his defensive potential too.

He showed he could be a terrific defender but was inconsistent. He has the ability. Now he needs coaching. The poor 3 pt shooting was due to poor shot selection which is easily fixed. The guy is a very good shooter and he's great getting to the basket.

Beasley is a 6th man. Culver would play SF etc.

MY hope was Edwards/ball and Maxey at 17 but it looks like Maxey may be gone in the lottery.

Remind me again, what were Ball's shooting percentages?

I could see the Wolves drafting any of the supposed top-3 (Ball, Edwards, Wiseman). Whether the pick/player is traded remains to be seen.

How does drafting two guards with both first round picks, coincide with having Russell already? (who is 24, so not a vet we grooming remplacements for) I get drafting one, but two? You invision 3 guard lineups? Or just drafting for the bench.

Isnt basically a must to atleast get one forward with one of the picks (17 atleast, since we arent using nr 1 on Deni or Toppin most likely).

The players I like most at 17 are guards/wings
Maxey, Terry, Bey, Hampton or Green it’s just that kind of draft. I really don’t see much difference with the bigs that will be there at 17 and at 33. At 33 I want Oturu, Reed, Tillman or Stewart.

If Maxey goes in the lottery that just means that somebody better slides to us. Aaron Nesmith or Ty Terry perhaps. Sadiq Bey? Poku?

He looks extremely talented in this video. If we pick him I won't be too upset.

I can agree with the concern. I just get that Jonathan Isaac feel from him and think he'd put in the work to improve as a shooter based on everything you hear about him. Plus I view him as a big wing defender we don't have. And if I'm right or wrong we both have evidence to say told you so. :D
