I think Love would resign as they have a good young team and would have cap left to make a run at another player. Also better coach and management then Cleveland.
One note about Dragic: he can and almost certainly will opt out of his contract next summer as he's got an opt out and is insanely underpaid at $7.5M. So Wolves would have to be awfully sure of an extension to want him as a center piece. And I believe it realistically makes zero sense for Dragic to sign an extension with the Wolves until July 1st, 2015 for financial reasons. That's my very amateur CBA knowledge understanding of things anyways, can anyone confirm/deny that?

Suns might be the kind of team who wants Love to opt into final year of deal or get word from Love they have reason to be very confident they'll re-sign him, too. With Dragic in MIN, that could get tougher to get. Dragic seems like a complicated and possibly not very likely piece to any Love trade for those 2 reasons. Wouldn't totally rule it out but some major hurdles to clear on both sides.

No one cares about Dragic except few delusional MIN fans.
Dragic had ONE great year in which every single PHX player had a great year. Rejects like Tucker, Morris twins, Plumlee looked like great players. Not to mention players like Green, Bledsoe like all-stars. So i am not impressed. And on top of that they want him as SG ... no comment.

This has probably been answered, but if the Cavs moved #1/Waiters/filler for Love/filler, would they still have enough cap to offer Lebron a max next offseason? I don't think Irving plus a rookie (none, based on their frosh years, looke like sure fire stars) is enough to lure Lebron to Cleveland, but two all-stars in Love and Irving might be.

This would be our only chance to vault into the top three imo, otherwise we're looking at the Celtics, Lakers, Warriors, and Bulls slop.

We've seen a lot worse offers but this is another example of quality vs. quantity. I don't see any of those players being a franchise player. I think MKG can be a great starter for many years to come but he needs scorers around him. With Pek/Dieng/Turiaf, not big on adding Zeller & BB, at least not for a Love package. Would rather get a top 5-6 pick in return than the 9th pick.

I agree, but maybe with 13th + 9th picks you can try a trade to get a top 5 pick.

You could always try but why not strive to get a top 5-6 pick in return for Love and use the 13th pick to added to that to move up? Though I like MKG, not sure he's worth our star player + being out of the top 6 of the draft.

Why would he when the pick is gone?
It's still a shambles and Deng is gone.

Philly are great and young but it's Noël and Carter Williams and...?
Without picks those teams are barrel scrapers.

It's the East.
It's not Minnesota.
Both teams would have other moves to make, and yes there's substantial risk involved, but All-NBA players only become obtainable in trade once every 5 years or so. The 76'ers haven't had a player as good as Love in wwhat 20 + years? The Cavs since Lebron left? And that's already after four top 4 picks.

Magic Could Be Interested In David Lee.

I dont think that makes any difference to G.State trade for Love.

Sure, If Orland wants Lee, probaly they give away A.Affalo to the Warriors.
And that opens the door to K.Thopmson in Minnesota.

But with H.Barnes + K.Thompson + We need a PF (And i dont see Orland give away the 12th pick for that)

Barnes + K.Thompson + 1st roubd pick 2015 (worthless pick) is not enought to get Love. IMO

Love and our pick for a lesser pick, a chucker on a bad contract (not that I wouldn't trade Barea and other guys for Tyreke) and Ryan Anderson? I think the idea was to give Chicago a way to get rid of Boozer without amnestying him because we wouldn't take it, but I don't like the deal.

You know it's a good trade when free agents like Dante Cunningham are involved!

The Dragic opt out does make it precarious. I might be delusional but he's in his prime and since he got starters minutes his numbers have improved the last two years, so I'm not quick to call that an aberration. Morris twins, Plumlee, and Bledsoe exceeded expectations, but as they're young and got more significant time and roles I don't know if it's an outlier or development. Green was the big outlier. Hard to believe the perfect storm hit 7 key contributors on one team all at once, but I don't see that being tied to whether or not Dragic would be a good player for us. He might be a little older than ideal though.

I wouldn't be surprised if Martin Evans pekovic n Anderson would all be good for 17-20 points a night

If we trade Love to the Warriors, we better have Martin in the deal and they better have Klay.

None of them offers floating around the net seem legit.

I hope you will be able to get a fair deal that will make the Wolves a better team.
