Yes, I was there on the strip in July once, it was an oven. The real Hell's Kitchen. Ok no, we are back to Gobert for Bam again? :D

I always appreciate when you post news like this Baseline, so thanks.

Prominent theories are a deal based around Paul George and Jarrett Allen, or Donovan Mitchell to BOS.

Drunking with Wolves has an absurd trade by Josh Cornelissen: Towns to Grizzlies for Adams, Kennard, Clarke, 2028 1st. That is about as amusing as Towns to LA for sign and trade of DLo. Don't they have editors look over these stuff? I see a lot more reasonable stuff on this board.

A more creditable outlet has something like: Towns to NYK for Randle, Grimes or Quickley, 3 1st Rounder (with one top 5 protected). At least I quickly grime a little on this one.

This Towns trade stuff is getting out of hand.

Draft compensation is in short supply for the Wolves.

I’m sure they’d like that, but both could be one year rentals, and are likely in the 26-40th most valuable PGs in the NBA.

Taurean Prince is a similarly valued player, maybe worse as a player, but cheaper and at a more valued position.

Prince and a future 2nd is realistic for Morris. Delonte West [Ack! “Delon Wright!”] probably isn’t even worth that.

Does Wizards have any players left beside Jones? Are they call up students from Horgrate?

If Prince isn't waved, something smells like a bigger trade coming

If Prince is waived, we won’t have matching salary to trade for a point guard, and would likely need to look to free agency.

I'm not really familiar with West, but Washington fans seemed to like him more than Morris on the Washington Wizards reddit. Saying things like he outplayed Morris every night, and was a great role model demonstrating the value of defense to our young perimeter players.

I hadn’t realized but Wright put up some nice advanced numbers last year, especially on the defensive end. Some combo of Wright, Brown, Divencenzo, Tyus, Jevon Carter via trade/FA would be a win. Brown being the best of the bunch, but I can’t see that happening.

ORL sends Fultz for Slo-Mo

ORL just drafted a bigger Fultz at #6, so someone else gets to enjoy the Fultz “rising from the ashes” renaissance.

Slo-Mo gives ORL solid depth and versatility behind Franz & Paolo with a great vet presence. Plus, WCJ won’t slap him in huddles. Leonard Miller and Naz will deserve his minutes for MIN…that’s a great pick, imo

Looking at our respective rosters, I'd say "More than you'd be willing to give", maybe if you threw in 24 hr access to DQ home office in Edina

Oh no! If my addled brain can confuse names that have been out of the league ten years, this issue is going to grow!

For just one season, Wright could be the better fit. He’s bigger and a very good defender. He isn’t the passer that Morris is, but he can hit three’s as well. He’s someone who’s game I’ve wanted in MIN for a long time.

Unfortunately, he’s 31, on an expiring contract, and can’t be extended. One of the features we’d really need to value is the ability to bring the player back next year, to become our starting PG, since we don’t have many ways under the CBA to replace Mike Conley when his contract expires. Wright would help this year, but I’m not sure he’s a starting PG, especially for ages 32-34, plus we’d be gambling he’d sign with us next year.
