At first I was sceptical, hated the interface, the comic look and the missing editor, but now I'd say it's pretty good. I still like Civ4 more, but 6 is not far behind.

Still really want to get this game but right now I'm trying to concentrate on beating a bunch of games I got on the ps4. I do anticipate I'll be getting it within the next 2 weeks. The new setup has me skeptical as well. Does it slow down the gameplay when you're a lot further into the game?

I think it's more organized, more mature. It's easier for beginners to find through and more challenging for more expierienced player due to the increased complexity. that being said, I think it's lost some charm, esp. to the a bit chaotic but incredibly fun Civ3.
But Civ6 is still a great game.

edit: I think it's actually a bit faster than I expected.

NBA 2K17 will be 30 dollars and 27 at Target and Walmart for Black Friday. Order online for easiest way to get it. Black Friday and the weeks surrounding it really are the best time to get games, consoles, and TV's.

So I am having some wifi issues with my pro and I will exchange it for another one tomoorow as I think its an issue with the console. I am thinking about taking it back and getting my money though. really, there are only 3 games on PS4 right now that I want to play that I cant play on my xbox. I want to do 4K gaming but right now I just don't know if its worth it. having a PS4. I wont use it very much until more games come out in 2017 that are exclusive. Even though I got a nice deal on this thing I am really thinking it may be best to send it back and just focus on getting a good 4K TV. I can get the pro again in a few months or so. I'll think it over.

Hi Guys! Just want to know if someone can help me :)
I bought a cheap Apacer 1x4GB 12800 1600mhz ram to rejuvenate my old pc.
My mobo only supports up to 1333mhz but i saw that it will just downclock. but i didnt researched enough (my bad)

The problem is once it is in the windows logo loading screen,it gives the blue screen of the death. I can get to the BIOS and it is detecting the ram (saying 4GB and 1333mhz). No RAM settings because its an OEM.

My options are to return it , sell it or to keep it until i buy a new desktop. My question is:
Is it just compatibility issues or is it bad RAM?(cannot use memtest also. it also shuts down. i tried)
Trust the PRosas!

New Mass effect trailer is out

Lots of right wing-ish hate in the comment section, mainly because of how characters look. Got to admit, these human characters do look kinda lame. But I guess thats kinda the point, they dont suppose to be soldiers form what I understand. One thing I don't like, is the new enemy alien race. Its just cliche and too humanoid looking. I mean these guys are not only from the different planet, but different galaxy, they evolved in completely different environment, why do all these aliens look so similar - faces, 2 eyes, arms and legs. I wish there were an enemy they didn't resemble humans in any way. But we are already talking about the universe where most Alien races are very alike.

So I have had my PS4 for a few months now and I am really enjoying the games that are in 4K.

Watchdogs 2 was great fun and I am surprised so many seem to dislike it. I thought it was a great open city game.

My favorite PS4 game easily though is Yakuza 0. These games are just so fun and entertaining. Its like those old school beat em up from the 90's Streets or Rage, Final Fight, Maximum Carnage etc. but more in depth fighting mechanics and a deep RPG like drama filled story. They are packed with stuff to do and really give you a taste of what its like to live in the big cities of Japan. I laugh more at these games than most movies/shows I have seen. They make me giddy at times.

Looking forward to Mass Effect but I am not really excited about it like I used to be. I don't know we will see how it goes but after playing ME2 the series hasn't given me the same feeling as I had when I first played the first game.

I am have been trying to tackle my backlog and I have done a good job since about October. Already some new games dropping though that I want to get so will have a full compliment of things to play for a long time.

What was the situation? What did you play?

You need to see a game designed for 4K on a 4K tv, its pretty damn crisp. The only thing I have seen on my 4K tv that is as impressive then a couple of games I have been able to try is a show on Amazon prime called The Last Tycoon. I tried others shows in 4K but that one blows everything away.

As far as 4K games go, only the PS4 Pro is capable of up scaling some games to near 4K. The xbox one S does take advantage of some improved visuals but most notably allows for High Dynamic Range (HDR) which is a feature on only certain 4K tv's that greatly enhances the visuals through lighting.

I was lucky enough to get a PS4 Pro with a 4K HDR capable tv and when all those features on available on a game and on, it can be pretty damn gorgeous. The upcoming Xbox one upgraded console called the Scorpio will be a true 4K producing machine and them most powerful gaming console ever made when it launches. That thing is going to be a behemoth on a good 4K tv.

Its getting crazy how people are upset about diversity in a videogame. Videogames have overwhelmingly only featured White and sometimes Asian protagonist and characters (what gets me is how many Japanese games feature characters that look White and not Asian.) but when some games change it up and introduce some different types of characters you got people freaking out. Really?

It's even funnier that they're getting upset about diversity in a video game series that's had it for almost a decade now. Mass Effect (and bioware games in general) have had homosexual and racially diverse characters in their games for years yet a short haired female and a black man in 2017 are apparently the tipping point.

I never played Dragon age series, but I heard those games have tons of homosexual, transexual characters. I have no problem with that, grantly I don't care at all, it doesnt bother me. But its easy to understand why Bioware became a target, there are tons of bigoted groups out there still who follow these youtube channels just to spew hate.

Oh definitely, but the majority of them are acting like Andromeda will somehow push things over the limit when in reality Bioware in particular have been including these characters for almost a decade now.

Also doesn't bother me, but some people just like to look for a reason to be upset, whatever side of the political fence they sit on.

Mayeb a little late, but motherboard vendors usually make a list with compatibility RAM models, you could search in their site. Usually a high speed memory will work with a lower speed memory mobo, but I would make sure the voltage its the same. The Ram modules should say it pressed in the label, you should check the BIOS to set up equally before to try anything else.

Played bf1 for a while. About 24 hours of gameplay so far. It's pretty legit. Campaign missions are fun. It it has like 6 stories. They're pretty quick to finish and doesn't feel like the same mission over and over.

The visuals online are pretty epic. Seeing a blimp crash or a dogfight above just looks cool. And I feel it's pretty balanced. War pigeons mode is becoming my favorite. It's a quick game, and lots of action. So I don't need to be too invested if I want a quick game before work.

My big complaint is snipers. I don't understand why people ONLY snipe. It just seems so boring and talentless. I'm getting frustrated of operations mode as well. Feels like I'm ducking from snipers and having to avoid 500 gas grenades. Plus my contributions feel minimal when there are 64 people playing. But I manage to find myself playing just one more match of it.

I dont think they are acting like Andromeda will push things over, these people already think Bioware pushed things over a long time ago, hense the constant hate now.
Not to add on to hate train, but this last trailer didn't wow me. I really hope characters are good, but they dont look very interesting in the trailer, I hope I am wrong. ME2 had great characters, ME3 ones were only passing. Also the villain and story is pretty cliche, I mean finding new home for human race, I dont know. I would actually like it better if you were helping some other race finding new planet, like Quarians or smth. But they probably thought players wouldn't connect that much if the story wasnt about human race in distress.

I was far more exited after the leaked gameplay footage. Action looks awesome, world is detailed as hell, and the leveling up system looks good.

Mass effect trilogy did some of the best world building I have seen. Till this day I believe all these characters are real. It's my Star wars. I am Star wars fan, but I never was this devoted obsessed fanboy. For Mass Effect - I am. If any of you haven't played the original trilogy yet, pick it up like right now!

Hell of a conference finals debut from my center against the Warriors!

51 pts
27 boards
9 dimes
4 blocks

My teammates were being useless. Thankfully Justice Young knocked down 4 open three's in the last 5 minutes and it propelled us to victory.

Best rookie duo in NBA history!

Wow game 2.

20 points
12 rebounds
3 assist
4 blocks

1 quarter

Put my guy in the hall of fame right now!

The shot stick in 2K17 is so hard to master! It's not so bad in myplayer once you figure out your guys timing, but I'm really struggling to hit jump shots in association mode with all the different releases of the players and I've been playing 2K for years.

I hate the shooting in 2K17. Seems you have to be way too precise.

So anyone getting Horizon Zero Dawn? I got to say, Sony is absolutely slaughtering Microsoft with games in these last few months. A total drumming. Xbox has a lot of work cut out for it in the next two years to get competitive game wise, they really dropped the ball this generation.
