All 3 are clearly negative assets. Cap space is better than each of them

I'd also like to add that Ivica Zubac played well against the Wolves. We're not trading Jimmy Butler for him, either. If over-performing against the Wolves was any sort of valuation criterion, then Wes Matthews would have been our franchise centerpiece years ago.

Steve Adams would be our franchise centerpiece if that was true. Followed by Cappela.

I'd like to bring this back. We need Jimmy in our secondary.

I just ignore him. He goes around pasting the same post in multiple threads.

Sorry if somebody is a jerk to you, but seriously Thinking you can get Butler without giving up Richardson???????????
He's honestly the only player on your team that we would really want. Dragic is good, but declining and not much better than Teague if any. Winslow is an offensive liability, Whiteside is a headcase and seems to be declining as well, plus the Monster Contract. Bam is interesting of course. Olynyk I would take. That's about it for your assets. Richardson has to be included if you are going to get Butler. Twix is a nice guy, but he's way off base for thinking guys like Whiteside and Waiters have value.

I still say he ends up in Milwaukee

Only if we have a very good trade lined up to move Dragic too.

I would play them together. A poor man's Parker and Ginobili.

Sounds interesting, but how many first round picks can they include with Gordon and Tucker? I don't see anything else useful they can spare.

Gordon & Capela in exchange for Butler & Dieng.

Harden, Butler, & CP3 is pretty damn good.

That's not going to happen. Capela is core player. He may actually be better for their team needs than Butler. Not as good as Butler, but fits their team better than Butler.

What do you think Bucks would have to offer to get a deal done?

Eh. I watch all the games, Winslow is going to be just as good if not better than Richardson offensively. I'm perfectly fine dealing Josh if thats what it takes.

I totally agree from a Rockets perspective.
It'd have to be Gordon, Tucker and FRP but I'm not crazy about that.

I'm starting to warm to the idea of a Houston deal centered around Gordon. Is it great? No but it's better than anything Miami is going to offer outside of Richardson. You get some shooting in the starting lineup that you desperately need.

Than you are being reasonable. Riley it sounds like isn't. I get sick to my stomach reading how aggressively you are going after Butler only to hear Richardson is not available. That is not aggressive.

Middleton of course. About the 30th best player in the league and at the SF/SG position.

If they are making a strong effort than it would be that offer but two FRPs instead of just one.

Gordon is a poor defender though, him & Wiggins could be a disaster defensively.

I'm not going to worry about that so much. He would give us that monster high volume three point shooter that we have needed so desperately.
