Agree, Hayward isn't worth targeting unless Rosas requires a large contract, outside of Russell and Towns, for trade purposes.

Unless Booker puts up a public fuss, you can stop with the hypothetical trades.

Like the Wolves, cap space doesn't help the Suns. It's not a destination team such as the Lakers, New York, Miami, etc.

Chances are Phoenix would ask for the Brooklyn pick as well. Even then, there is no desperation to deal Booker, especially after coming out of how well the Suns played in the bubble.

Revisit closer to the trade deadline based on standings.

Looks like you’re right

This week, Ryen Russillo of The Ringer suggested that it was the NBA’s “worst kept secret” that Booker wanted out of Phoenix.

“They have to worry about the Booker thing,” he said. “The worst-kept secret in the league is Booker already wants out of there. And if it’s another bad season, I actually think that could get ugly.”

“The Wolves have been looking into Booker’s potential availability for months but have been given no indication that he is available,” Shams Charania of The Athletic reported this week

we could explore sign and trade with Toronto for Serge Ibaka...for 3 yr 45mil yr deal involving JJ+#17. Ibaka still mobile and athletic enough to play the 4..and should have atleast 3 good yrs left in him. Good fit next to Towns IMO.

viewtopic.php?t=2008704 Bulls looking to move up. Lavine+4th for #1 and JJ...use #4 to draft Onyeka. Trade #17+Culver for Aaron Gordon.

Yuck. As much as I am a LaVine camp guy, he and Russell would have too many holes for any Dutch boy to fill. And no way do Wolves add Culver to get Gordon.

Bulls: #4 + LaVine FOR #1 + Johnson

Magic: LaVine FOR A. Gordon

Wolves: #1 + Johnson FOR #4 + A. Gordon

And I think Rosas should get a future 1st from Bulls (if he can).

I'd do #4, Otto Porter Jr(opts in to his PO; one yr to prove himself; system fit)Lauri Markkanen(still on rookie contract) for #1, JJ and Culver.

PG: Dlo
SG: Resign Beasley: Sign Joe Harris(MLE) Trade#17 for Kris Dunn(good defender)
SF: Otto Porter(3D)
PF:Lauri Markkanen(Stretch 4)
C:Towns

draft with #4 pick onyeka okongwu or flip him to Toronto for sign and trade for Serge Ibaka(can serve as defensive backup pf or center)

i think hornets should give up one of bridges or washington+#3..their similar in height and playing style..making one of them redundant.

If wolves do those trades I’d honestly prefer to trade down even further from 8.
4-8 is just not a good spot in this draft. I expect Okongwu gone before 8 and Toppin has bust all over him
8+Vanderbilt,johnson and Nowell for 15/Gordon.

Then draft Saddiq Bey at 15 , Maxey at 17 , Perry or Riller at 33

Russell/????
Beasley/Maxey/???
Bey/Culver/Okogie
Gordon/Jauncho/Perry
Towns/Reid/????

Plus 2021 knicks and Hornet picks

I could live with that.

Jack Borman from Canis Hoopus suggested this:

#1 for PJ Washington plus 2021 CHA 1st unprotected

CHA gets the #1 and #3.

Thoughts?

Bold. I just don’t think I could do it. Imagine giving up #1, Wolves some how suck and gift Warriors #4 in 2021 and Hornets over achieve...Wolves get like #10.

That is a real bad look for Rosas.

Not a fan of Ibaka on a three year, and I’m concerned about being hardcapped.

LaVine and DLo can’t share a back court defensively.

And personally, I don’t think Aaron Gordon and Otto Porter don’t seem like valuable enough players to trade down from the #1.
