I think you're overstating it.
All Rubio said is that Kevin isn't a vocal leader. Which he's not. Kevin knows that, so why would he be upset.
absolutely correct. Rubio's statements have been way overblown.
on to trade options...
I am not liking the GS option unless David Lee can be moved for another piece. It sounds like teams in the top three aren't going to be an option either. So my favorite option is a bulls trade.
Min Out - Love/Martin
Min In - Gibson/Snell/Boozer(who we release)/#16/#19/Sacs 2015 1st
Chicago adds tons of offensive punch without losing Butler for defense. Rose/Martin/Butler/Love/Noah, if healthy can do quite well in the east.
Minnesota adds a great PF compliment to Pek and Snell who has D and 3 capability. We also add some decent picks. I would look at packaging #19 and #13 to move up to secure Lavine and use pick #16 on Adrian Payne (fits great with Dieng or Pek). Still need to find a place for Barea and find a reliable vet backup PG in case shved proves incapable.
Pek - Dieng - Turiaf
Gibson - Payne - LRMAM
Shabazz - Budinger
Brewer - Snell - Lavine
Rubio - Shved - vet pg
Coach - Joerger
Good balance on offense and defense for both 1st and 2nd units. No sure superstars on the wings, but we would hope Shabazz/Snell/Lavine could develop into a great core. Would make sure to limit Pek's time throughout to season to keep him healthy by playing Dieng/Turiaf more as well as maybe having him sit out back to backs.
