We want the best deal for Minnesota. Nobody cares about a win now houston team.

However my hope is that butler doesn't end up on Houston since he'd just troll us every matchup. I'm not opposed to it, but I really hope someone else steps up to the plate.

Eager to help the rockets? Serious, who suggests that? Lets be real, we need to unload this malcontent and frankly don't care where to.

Because if we are to move Butler any plausible hopes we may have had of being a serious contender to any team in the West goes out the window, if there were even any hopes to begin with.

How powerful Houston become over the next 2 seasons or so isn't of as much concern to us. Would I prefer we moved him out East? Yes. Would I not move him to a Western team if their offer was the best on the table? No.

Drowning is also a pretty severe overreaction, the Rockets will be fine.

The Rockets are playing the season like they typically play games. Mess around for two quarters and then show you whats real. But they could screw up and lose too many early and have too big a hill to climb later.

Cowardly move by the Wolves. Plain and simple as that.

Josh Richardson is looking pretty good so far, looks to have taken a step or two forward.

Bill Plashke on Around the Horn, on fixing the Rockets

“One thing can fix this. Get Jimmy Butler. Get him now. Give Minnesota whatever they want. Make that trade now. He’s not doing any good up in Minnesota.”

When asked about the four pick offer, he joked:

“Throw in another one! Make it five! I don’t care. They need him”

4 late first round picks means 4 players like Tyus Jones or at the best like Josh Okogie.
If you think that late first round picks can fix this team let's do it.

Yes, let's instead trade 30th pick Jimmy Butler for 40th pick Josh Richardson, 20th pick Caris LeVert or the undrafted Robert Covington instead of 4 useless late first round picks...

Oh, wait...

I just want Jimmy Drama off the team man. Enough of this ****.

We can find a better offer than 4 late first round picks.
The last pick will be in year 2025.
I don't care about 2025. And I think the same does Taylor who will be 85yr old then.
Plus the picks will need 2-3 years in order to become better.
That means 2028. Ok, let's be patient for the next decade to see if we will win the tzoker with those picks.
Give me one top 10 pick rookie right now instead of 4 future 25th picks

You think there will be a better offer than what has been reported/rumored so far?

I can't even think of another team that would make sense

Yes, I think that there will be a better offer. I think that many of the fans here in the forum believed Butler is a top 10 or top 15 player(personally I strongly disagree with that) and maybe some other teams believe that.
We can find a team who offers one good player and a rotation player for Butler.
Butler has to understand that he will never sign a max extension at the age of 30. If he understands that many teams will want to trade for him.
