Will probably be Ayton but Lopez and Capela off the board now.

if I'm Ayton I might prefer the Bucks if the $ is the same as LAL
easier conference, more shots

Brooklyn has cap space to eat the contract straight up.

They should but this is what I got on fans fanspo
Nets are unable to complete this trade. Since they are not an over apron team, and they are sending out between $7,500,000 and $29.0M in salary, they are only able to take back $7.5M more than the salary they are sending out.

Nets can only take back $28.5M in salary based on the amount they are sending out.

Cut $9.7M from the Nets incoming trade value to make this trade successful for the Nets.

I don't think whatever logic their program is using accounts for trading into Raw Cap Space.
Brooklyn has plenty of room to absorb the ~17 mil difference.

Ayton has a reputation as a bad locker room guy/poor character. Doubt nets or LAL has interest.

Should free agency come before the draft?

Turner ain’t THAT big a difference maker either  , although he has a reasonable contract.
I guess Dame to the Lakers in 2026-2027 season.

So Ayton+Lillard to Lakers? The Lillard move turned into disaster for Bucks. East teams are getting weaker besides Orlando. West teams are continue to get stronger. Even NOP thinks they will be in the playoffs next year :D

Indiana needs a center also. Tbh wolves should be trying to shop Naz , see what teams will offer, some gm may overpay.

I'm good with that. We could win 2 NBA titles.

Raptors feel like they are going nowhere....idk why a team that has already lot of salary tied to mediocre players would go on and give 4 yr $104M contract for a limited C like Poetl...he is not some all time great defender either, he is a limited player offensively and will be 30 by the time season starts.

Not defending it, but I think the new CBA's salary cap floor will have some of these bad teams paying big money for rewarding guys who have already been in their system rather than spending that money in free agency.

Going to feel weird rooting for the Celtics but would be fun if Garza and Minott got some significant run.

Pacers really got sideswiped by Lillard being waived, I'm sure they didnt have that on their bingo card.
That's a pretty big blow for them, having a stretch 5 like Turner who can also defend the rim was pretty key to what they do.

Without Lillard or another viable PG Giannis might average a 35 pt triple double trying to win games next year.

I did not have the Celtics scooping up our end of bench players as sloppy seconds on my 2025 offseason bingo card.
Garza will fit ok but Minott is so brain dead he's just gonna get screamed at a lot.

It's almost like they are shooting for a high draft pick next year.
Expect Brown and White to miss a ton of games to "injury".
