Idk why we wouldn't want to bring the green out. Too many teams with blue, then you add black to it? Not feelin it. You either go green & blue or just drop the blue and make it green & silver/gray & black.

Blue is everywhere. I'm sick of seeing the color so often in sports and in web design.

There's an apartment complex somewhere in the twin cities named blue. I laught when I see the sign because it's colored red but the word is blue. I guess even when it isn't the color blue, the word still pops up.

I didn't mean to say that Utah was having a green jersey, I just meant they are incorporating green, so it might seem odd if MN did it. I also agree that a black and blue jersey might look odd...I'm thinking Duke.

Here is the Jazz "alternate" jersey. I'm guessing it's just for the game, but it is pretty damn ugly is you ask me.

Funk kinda set the bar of expectations pretty high for me. The logo looks oh so much better in that green. Very good stuff

The Salt Lake Tribune reports the Jazz will unveil their new jerseys on August 16. The road jerseys will apparently be navy blue with white logos. The old New Orleans Jazz jerseys with the musical note logo were purple, so it will be interesting to see how the blue works.

Thanks. I've been humorously dubbed as a "sports fashionista" as I often pay close attention to jersey designs and trends. So designing the jersey and logo was a lot of fun. I think when I first showed these, they got lost in the shuffle of posts as it was draft time and many didn't see it.

I think the "busyness" is main complaint with the current jerseys and they will be specifically addressing this. They were outdated the moment they were shown. It would have been more acceptable if they were released anywhere from 2000 to 2005. NCAA jerseys are a good barometer for trends, and the last two to three years has all been about clean, simplified and form fitting designs. Solid, same tone colors for the arm holes, smaller neck hole, thin striping, etc.

I think the blue and white jerseys are just going to be "toned down" but I hope the black alternate goes far beyond that.

Yeah, I've actually been getting into the various alternate unis a little myself. I think the Mavs alternates are the gold standard right now. The ones you designed seem to have a kind of minimalist TRON feel with the light green on black. Very cool. Also, dig the chevrons.

Unless the color green we use is Celtic green then hell to the no. That dark poop green on that Jazz jersey is not appealing.

I don't mind the new jerseys. Except the tree neckline is very out of place.

Just make our jerseys look like the Twins but with the Wolf logo on it.

Quick update. Spoke with one of the VPs last night at the meet and greet.

1. The green has been eliminated from the home and road jerseys.
2. Most of the players have seen the new jerseys.
3. If I didn't like them, blame Kevin Love (he said with a laugh).

He also told me to send him the concepts I made even though the black alternate is coming out.

That would be my guess. He said it was subtle and a lot of people may not even notice. I would approve of this. I think it looks a lot better.
