This is why he didn’t deserve to be drafted first and why he is a team killer. Arrogance needs to be earned. The guy is shooting 37.1% from the field with a 3pt percentage of 30.2. But of course his shot isn’t the problem. Chucking and believing it’s okay because your a better shooter than your numbers suggest is a mind set that needs to be discouraged at all costs (especially in rookies.) Finch needs to hold him accountable or Rosas needs to trade him, because this attitude loses games.

I think you're reading too much into this. Edwards just seems like the type of guy to say what he thinks the media and fans want to hear.

Naw, Ant speaks with no filter. You should know that by now if you been following the wolves closely all year.

He’s ticked off and wants to prove he can shoot and play his own game.

If only he could shoot or play without direction. Alas he cannot.

So the league lifts all Two Way contract limitations right when JMac gets Covid. The kid will never enter a practice with the team at this rate. Maybe next month.

Yup, he’s legit annoyed that Finch told him to quit jacking up so many dumb threes but at least he acknowledges that his defense has been abysmal this year too.

That helps the wolves cap Situation that we don’t have to guarantee his salary this year so gives us more cushion to make a trade happen. Wishful thinking bro

He starts messing with his hair and whatever instead of looking into camera when they pry that answer out of him. Yes he's annoyed. Predraft interviews he said working on more defensive effort was his goal. He did admit his shot aint falling yet. So maybe it wasn't in practice today either. "but once it does...we won't even be havin this convo!"

All it will take is one good game shooting again and they will have to pry that ball out of his cold hands the next game. But he'll be sitting under the basket waiting for the ball to drop in his hands the next possession. I actually love it that he's so damned cocky and bringing this upon himself with people questioning him and his coach having to say something in public. This is keeping the topic in the open where we know he's at least hearing about it. Contrast that to Wiggins and never knowing what the team was asking of him all those years and Wiggins never said the wrong things to push anything into the media.

He's been practicing all season. The rule was changed before the season from number of days (practice included) to just number of games.

I had heard the rule change right before the season was extending the amount of games/days from the original 45 to 50 and they were still thinking about allowing them to play in the playoffs. There was still a limit of total days before. Now all limits are lifted and its certain they can play in playoffs based on the report today I saw. Unless I missed some other report that limits were completely lifted earlier or practices were. But then why the new report of changes? Just game amounts now?

JMac also wasn't yet with the team at the start of season so he was prorated some minor amount in both days/games and total amount he could earn was probably docked a bit. That's one of the reasons I always thought these were lame deals. The team can hold them out of practices/games saying they want to save their available days for later and yet they might just actually want to save some money even though it's not against the cap. The less of their max time they use, the less they get paid. Now with no limits, does his pay go up if he plays 64 games I wonder?

Previous years it was 45 days. (practice included)
This year it was 50 games. (until today's vote)

Edwards attempts record breaking rookie shots for one game?

The wolves win by 40 no doubt.

So close, you're a savant....

One never knows when they will allow their good players to play.

What I find really interesting is how the great generational draft pick Zion is in year two and his team is getting beat up by a second round stud that's been stuck behind a former #6 Culver since day one. Who would have ever saw that coming?

Honestly, in some ways I could see the national perception around him change in a year or two as it has with Towns.

I could never figure out why fixing Nowell wasn’t a major focus of Ryan. His numbers in the G and his ball skills are exactly what we need. If Finch can unlock him (I don’t just mean insanely hot shooting nights like last night) then he will have a Lou Williams type offensive threat and maybe even turn him into a decent defender. Young teams become good teams by putting their players in situations to succeed and teaching them good habits and well earned confidence.

Although his handle could use a little work.

McLaughlin is back on the team and seems like he would be ready to play on Wednesday. Interesting to see how Finch would play him.
LETS GO WOLVES!!! 8-)
