I hope not. They need people to come off the bench and Beasley has to be it.

The Wolves might want to consider keeping someone on Ball. He can't get his shot off if he's guarded, the problem is he's been wide open all night.

That would be terrible. Only one can shoot each posession but all five are needed to play defense. How does anyone compensate for three sub par defenders who wont give effort? And i'm not even talking about Beasley there.

This one feels like an L, still plenty of time but the Pelicans energy is great and our defense is kind of meh.

Ant with bad shot selection again. Going one on four and not getting back on D, back to start of the season. I dont even care wether he makes those heaves or not. Actually hope he misses, and subconciously learns a lesson.

I still think it can work, especially if we get a good presence in the frontcourt next to KAT. Edwards defense could go up a tick next season, Beasley gives energy just doesn't know where to put it, Dlo has shown flashes of being able to play defense.

We would need a rock-solid scheme, and guys being committed to playing it. A veteran defensive big next to Towns would help too. KAT himself has improved a lot on defense this season. I think it could be done if they go that route.

Exactly right. There is only one ball. I don't think the Wolves will ever be great defensively but you don't have to be. You'd better be adequate to decent though as long as your offense is really good. It's a team thing more than an individual thing anyway.

Point well taken though. I'm not a fan of those 5 starting.

Man, this has been a fun entertaining game.

Reid is so vastly improved. He doesn't get enough credit.

Anthony Edward's rebounding improvement has taken him from a pretty flawed prospect to a great one. I cannot overstate how important that improvement to his game has been.

lot of it is down to Zion...Wolves are struggling to defend Zion and doubling/tripling him at times but Zion is doing good job of finding open shooters and open players at rim

Alright, this vibe is too much fun, I'm going to Target Center before the season ends if I can get in.

Everybody knows I pleaded to take Ant before the draft but Ant has exceeded anything I ever expected at this point. I thought it might take him 2-3 years to get to this point but he's done it in 4 months. Simply unbelievable. It is thrilling to watch.

Then our Wild have Kirill "the trill" Kaprisov who may be even more phenomenal.

I'm really proud of the turnaround and fight these guys have shown late in a lost season. It sucks it's gonna cost us our pick but I'm glad to see us winning and competing.
